Did not deliver both parts of my order
Online storeOrdered 2 items on line, Snowys failed to deliver one of the items and then asked me to photograph the packaging long after they lead me to believe that the order was sent in 2 separate shipments. Online storeJust horrible how they handle returns for shoes. Not happy with the shoes size you ordered? No problem, just pay to return it. Unless you live close to their physical store, there’s no point buying shoes here if you don’t know your exact shoe size. Buy somewhere else to save you the headache.

Online storeI have bought from Snowys many times. A few years ago I purchased an Outdoor Connection 3 person Howqua tent with 5 year warranty. It has been fantastic. I use it a lot - approx 12 weeks per year. One of the poles broke and I contacted Snowys. I was initially told that pokes were not included in the warranty, however with some persistance they were replaced under warranty. Once I got onto the right person it was very easy. The new set came very quickly. I would highly recommend buying from them.

Online storeThings don't always go right in life or for a business. Snowys had some excessively long delays processing warranty claims recently.
You'd think I might post less than 5 stars, but they way a company handles things even when they get it wrong speaks highly of their integrity.
They turned what could have been a very painful experience into the best one possible given the circumstances. So 5 stars for the communication, being up front, perks to help ease the pain, and for coming good.

Online storeI bought a table from them, really excited to get away with the family. 2-3 days shipping. I allowed 5, should have been fine. On the day were supposed to leave it finally leaves their warehouse interstate. Now I understand things get delayed, but now I have to go and buy another one for the weekend. I ring and explain the situation. And their response...not really our problem, we had delays in our warehouse so it got held up. I was told to read the T&Cs, and if you want a return, you work out how to get it back to us at your cost, bad luck.
All it would have taken is a bit of understanding. Wanted to give you guys a go, ill go back to the big guys, who actually seem to care about their customers.

Online storeI have ordered at least half a dozen items from Snowys now and in spite of them having to ship to Melbourne from Adelaide, I have always found the process smooth and seamless. I have had need to contact Snowys a few times via the phone re corrections to orders and addresses etc and have always found them prompt to answer, friendly and fast in providing solutions. I also love the great range of Products/Brands that they stock especially supporting Aussie made brands as well. The best price guarrantee is another great feature of the Snowys offering. Can't recommend highly enough.

Normally I would price match with the local BCF and be done with it but this time I figured I'll pay postage and wait for it to arrive into the mail.
Bad move. Snowys took too many orders when they where on break and now can not process them all. They have given ever excuse, to public holidays, to the courier.
Sounds like some old guy who owns the business dropped the ball and is now mad.
My package has not arrived. They tell me it has, I tell them it hasnt. They don't know what is going on because they are "so busy".
Just price match them at BCF, or Anaconda or Tent World and save yourself the bull.

... Read more The picture snowys shared was from within a van, with multiple packages on the dash. It is not a picture of my package at my front door like you would expect. Snowys need to change the courier they use. They have hundred of 1 star reviews with complaint after complaint from people. I had to ask Snowys for the couriers number (they gave me a link to the website) to see if I could follow up because snowy "considers this delivered now". I hope next time you go camping your mattress deflates, you get sand in your sleeping bag and your tent leaks in the rain. Which is a good chance with the junk that Snowy sells. It took them almost a week to get around to replying to this complaint. Worst customer service ever. Don't go near them. Online storeI've been a loyal customer for years, spent thousands (around $3,000 in the last 6 months alone) but their shocking customer service, incorrect listings, impossible returns process where they make you pay for shipping a broken item to you, the fact that their website stock numbers and delivery dates are constantly wrong and the shady practice of claiming items are on sale when they clearly aren't (I research items and know when they are on sale and when they are not) I have given up - saving a few buck is not worth the hassle, especially when
... Read moreyou don't get what you ordered and can't get help when they get things wrong. The latest issue was purchasing a $100 item that is not what is described. Significant difference in features and packaging and apparently a previous model rather than the current one (according to manufacturer’s website). On top of that, the item was delivered to the wrong address, then lost (no help or communication from Snowys to fix the issue with THEIR courier) and it would have been the 2nd thing in a month I had to go through the returns process and just could not be bothered. The last return was for an item that had been opened, sealed plastic in box had been opened then closed up with a cable tie (obvious massive tear was still visible) and one of the screws was stripped. This was clearly a returned item that was shipped as new. Snowys refund the PURCHASE price but not the postage for an item they themselves wrote off and told me to “dispose of responsibly” even though I offered to drop it off to the store for them. Got an email from [Name Removed] saying he wanted to flick me a quick email to say thank you, that there had been a review of their entire customer database to recognise those who’ve supported us the most and I was one of those people. He went on to say that, to show our appreciation for the support I’d shown them, to please accept a 5% off discount code on my next purchase over $50… no strings attached. Just make sure to use it before the end of next month (Oct 2022). Well obviously, those are strings [Name Removed], seriously, there two right there and when I tried to use the discount in store it turns out there’s a 3rd, it had to be used online. The email went on to say “Oh, and while I’ve got you… if you have any advice on how Snowys can be a more enjoyable place to shop, please email me personally…”. I did, twice, no response. Both my emails stated both things I loved and things that I really felt needed improvement but obviously he really didn’t give a stuff. Given he has the same surname as the managing director my guess is he doesn’t have to give a stuff as his job is not reliant of customer satisfaction and there won’t be repercussions if someone complains about him. The cheaper prices used to be worth it for name brands whose quality was proven but you don’t get what you ordered or when you do, it’s been returned and resent or it’s out of stock and it takes them a week to tell you despite the website still staying it’s in stock – it’ just not worth the stress.Hi Kate, hopefully you caught my response on Friday night to your Google review, I'm following this up this morning.

Online storeI bought 2 x Exped Megamat 9 days ago from Snowys website at $350 each, during the shopping I chatted with the customer service team and asked if there is any future promo which been told there is none.
Yesterday they are running an eBay Promo for 10% Off and it literally $100 less.
Emailed customer service again and hope they can price-match the difference, but obviously, it is against their policy, and the answer is No.
I would suggest anyone buy from their Ebay store instead of from their own site.

Sorry for the delayed reply here, John. The best tents for the beach are those that have really strong frames or are more aerodynamic, The Oztent and Black Wolf Turbo tents have strong frames, and good quality dome tents, or air pole tents, will offer better aerodynamics to handle persistent ocean winds. ~ Ben
We recently purchase a 200 watt croc skin armour solar panels , and noticed that it only comes with a 15 amp regulator ,when 200 watts =16.67 amps will the 15 amp regulator handle the extra amperage?cheers, Tony

200W only equals 16.67A at 12v.
These panels are 18v, so the max output is 11.11A.
