shipping, which clearly stated 2-day delivery. After two days, only the accessories arrived — the actual tent (the main thing I ordered) didn’t. I called them and was told “it was too big for the truck” and that it would arrive “tomorrow.”

Tomorrow came. No tent.

I called again. This time it was “the next day.”

Then Friday came, and suddenly the story changed to “it will arrive in 5 days.” At that point I asked if I could simply pick it up from the depo, since clearly shipping wasn’t happening. Their response? “Maybe, we’ll let you know.” They never did.

After all that, they offered a refund. Fine. But when I called the next day to check on it, they told me I would need to post the accessories back myself, wait for them to receive them, and only then would they process the refund.

So let’s recap the adventure: • Paid extra for express shipping • Didn’t receive the main item • Given different promises every day • No follow-up to help me • Then told I need to spend more time and effort returning items just to get a refund for their mistake

This was an incredibly frustrating experience. For a well-known Australian outdoor retailer, the logistics, communication, and customer service were shockingly poor.

Camping gear is supposed to help people get outdoors — not trap them in a customer service loop.

The 500 amp Shunt and was working great but suddenly I couldn't configure it. I rang customer service and went through a couple of steps again to no avail. They are going to replace it. Excellent to deal with.

Order placed in March never received. Phone lines turned off, no responses to emails. Reported to bank and I got my money back at least. Super dodgy! Looks like they are going into liquidation.

to let me know how long the delay was and to offer me the option of waiting for the items to come in and send everything in one package or receiving the items they had now and sending the outstanding items as soon as they came in. I took the second option with no extra costs for two deliveries. The first package came with good tracking and the correct items, Mandy called and emailed to let me know the second package was on it’s way ( in the time frame I was originally told) all items were as described and very well made and packaged. It has been a pleasure to do business with a company that provides a great level of service and goes the extra mile to do what they say they will do.

permit am leaning towards HottapGo for camping setup. The gottaGo was on back order when I purchased it and I accidentally added extra cassette to cart thinking it didn’t come with one. Since item hadn’t shipped, customer service were brilliant as refunding the item not required. All my equipment is sturdy and operates as expected and has survived rain, wind and sun so far with no issues on several camping trips.

Bought a set of Rhino Rack rope rails from A1 roof racks, the rails are advertised for the tradie racks. What a rip off, they have a lightweight… Read more

alluminium rail and all the uprights are plastic, thin plastic at that. Any weight or pressure from load or a rope holding down any sort of load would pull the rails clear of the rack. They are just a decorative piece and serve no functional use at all. Do not buy them. I patd 266 dollars now A1 roof racks have quoted 153 dollars in frieght to pick them up for return for a partial refund. May as well throw them in the rubbish, they are useless.To be fair A1 roof racks were quite good to deal with, they just sold me a rubbish product.

their phone when you call them, they don’t respond to you via their text messaging service which is their recommended contact preference. Essentially this company ghosts you and you will never get a response! So if you buy something from them and you want to return it within the 30 days as per their policy, good luck because you’re now stuck with the item. When you buy stuff from this, use a pay service such as PayPal or something similar

details. I particularly love the wax tinder ropes. They just make starting campfires and cooking so much easier out side as they don't blow out like a match.

I found two really nice shirts $149.95 each I said great. I will buy them gave the lady my $300. I asked for a bag. She said that will be 50 Cent sir. I said I have no money left. She goes carry him over your shoulder. I said look at me I’m covered in tar. I work on the roads and the truck is absolutely disgusting filthy I said can you give me a bag? She said no I asked to see the Manager the Manager came out no argument I said nicely I need a bag. Can I have a free bag? She said no we cannot do it. I said I spent $300 and you won’t give me a 50 Cent bag. I haven’t got enough Money. She said no so I asked for my money back and they gave it back to me straight away sadly they’ve lost me as a customer. Absolutely disgusting. I really did not have $.50 left out of my 300. I had 10 cents left like I said to her if everyone went at their half price sale they would not be in business and you lost a customer. Over 50 cent

withdraws items worth aiming to get for my rewards points and instead only offers items that are not even torches. Also the spin the wheel for a prize is so fixed with the outcome of the spin invariably set at 50 coins. No ethics in thei company and there are definately torches by other companies that outperform and cost less than Olight products
