Australian based but worse than temu for car mats – A real company but very still very scammy, zero quality control and have zero desire to fix things when they mess up.

AVOID!! Dodgy Dodgy Dodgy – AVOID!! Dodgy..Dodgy..Dodgy Purchased and paid with PayPal. No communication received and after about 2 weeks I was notified of a PayPal refund. Before the refund is returned to your account, the seller cancels the refund. The seller is not replying to emails or PayPal Resolution contact.

Not applicable and intended for this – Obviously not for this one and quite confusing name here.

Mats great. Car seat not so much – Car mats are great no complaints at all although I think the back ones could fit a smidge better (but minor annoyance). enough that it doesn’t slip around. It only tightens in the back of the back cover. I’ve gotten in and out a few times and it’s already affected the look. If I’d gotten it when it’s now $30 wouldn’t be so bad but for $99 I expected a bit better

Great Fit and Good Price – Ordered mats for my new car. They fitted very well and were well priced too. Half the price of official ones. Order was quick. Would recomment.

Aftermarket mats – I ordered after market mats for my Kia Stonic. When they arrived, I was blown away. They are thick, fit perfectly and have a badge saying "STONIC" on them. I am extremely happy with my mats. Thank you.

Uber driver – First week of running my new mats and I'm extremely impressed with the product. I have 30 to 40 passengers a day in my car and usually have to get my handheld vacuum out every 3 or 4 rides to vacuum up fine sand and grass. No more. They are just amazing. And.... They stay where you place them on the floor. Excellent product.

Do it! – They fit perfectly inside my Kia Rio. They look stylish and are comfortable, even under bare feet. They keep my car looking so clean! Sand and leaves don't embed and it's as easy as shaking the mats to get rid of them. Brilliant purchase. Could not be more impressed!

Exceptional customer service – Ordered mats for an i30, they fit perfect and look great in my daughter's car. Ian was very helpful and provided excellent customer service and support, especially during these times of covid and lack of staff. Highly recommended and will use again.

Above & beyond – My 1st order was lost by auspost. After contacting car mats not only did the communication be outstanding but they also sent out new mats & dealt with my auspost issue for me. My new mats are fantastic The service I received from car mats was 2nd to none & I will use them again

Good quality mats that fit perfectly – Bought these mats as an alternative to the official Kia mats costing around half the price. Decent quality to the mats and the fit is perfect. Very pleased with the purchase and the look. Would happily recommend to other buyers.

scam website – Ordered large car mat. Item never delivered. $280 down the drain. No response to many emails. Unable to get a refund. Steer well clear of this so called company.

Don't even want to give 1 star. Terrible company – Do not purchase from this company. I ordered a dash mat 1/12/2020 it was a Xmas present. Still hadn't received by 21/1/2021. After a few emails asking where my mat was they told me it would take 25-30 days. No where on that website states that. Very disappointing. I did managed to get my refund though very lucky.

Very nice mats...good price – We always buy the "official" mats for our new cars but never realised you could buy similar from these guys. Bought two sets for our new Elantras and saved a heap of money ($71.00 vs $143.00 each set ) by not going to a dealership to buy our mats. They arrived quickly and they look great. Did not fit and poor quality – Product arrived quickly so cant complain. When I went to fit the rear mat it was too wide for the vehicle. Stood high of the center hump by over 4 cms. then said they would pick up and remake to the dimensions I had cut. I was OK with that. Then when cleaning the car (only 2 weeks old) I removed the front drivers mat and the carpet was pilling already - yes less than two weeks of a left foot just sitting on it. They claimed this was unprecedented? Wanted to investigate and "decide" what they would do. Did not like it when I asked for a refund. They had no concept of statutory consumer rights when a product is sold unfit for purpose. After tooing and froing I received an SMS stating a refund had been given; along with lots of insults about integrity etc. I have never felt the need to post a negative review on any website. You can judge by that how seriously I have taken this matter.

thought considering I ordered the 'Ultimate' (i.e. top of the line) option. Anyway, my real beef is that the site clearly advertises itself as "Car Mats AUSTRALIA" yet, when I received my credit card statement I have been charged the 3% banking fee because the merchant's bank is located overseas. I find this to be seriously misleading and deliberately duplicitous. Upon checkout, the Car Mats AUSTRALIA website displays a message - ESTIMATE SHIPPING AND TAX = $0.00.

I have written to Car Mats AUSTRALIA asking for the 'Overseas Txn Fee' to be refunded but I suspect they will direct me to my bank (ANZ) who will no doubt say it is out of their hands and is a standard charge. Once again, the consumer has been mislead. Be aware if ordering from Car Mats AUSTRALIA - you are, in fact, ordering from Car Mats UK.

Edit: Credit to my bank (ANZ) who agreed with me that the website is misleading. They have refunded the fee. Have not heard back from the supplier.

refund - such poor quality! He started delaying us while he spoke with the courier, and is now stopped emailing us - $170 down the shoot! We've raised a visa dispute in the hope that provides the refund we are seeking. Their site says they refund damaged product - but clearly they don't! Beware!

the material. I took photographs of the mat with the flaw clearly visible, and emailed to the CarMats Australia with a request for a replacement.

Almost three months have passed, and I have still not received a reply from CarMats Australia, despite a second email almost a month ago.

Accordingly, I am unable to reccomend either the product or the customer service.

Since writing the above review, Automotive Carpets (UK) have contacted me to advise that my previous emails to Carmatsaustralia had not been received, and have offered to replace the mats with a full set of top quality mats.

Since learning of my plight, Automotive Carpets (uk) have been proactive in their communication, and ensuring that my situation was resolved.

Accordingly, I am revising my review from 1 star to 4 stars
