an okay antidandruff shanpoo nothing great – It's okay, did not solve my dandruff issue - made my hair a bit dry as well. Smells great - relieves the itch for a while only. Show details

Does not work to treat dandruff – Bought this anti-dandruff shampoo to support an Australian owned brand (Cedel) but unfortunately the shampoo made no difference to my daughter's dandruff. The search for one that actually works continues. Show details

Fantastic Shampoo – My family has used this shampoo for years. It rid my husband of his dandruff for which he had tried most of the other shampoos. This doesn't seem to dry out the hair. It has 2% zinc pirondine thione and that's what sets it apart from all the rest. Really great stuff. Show details

Great product – I have used this for many years with great results to reduce an itchy scalp. More recently I have tried other brands with poor results. A shame that the big two supermarkets in my area no longer stock it - only reason I have tried other brands. I'll try Priceline. Show details

THE best anti dandruff shampoo. Woolies should re stock it!! – My husband only gets good results with this shampoo, woolies doesn’t stock it anymore and he’s been scratching his head. I will now try Priceline and hopefully find it there. Show details

Only effective treatment available – I'm 80, have a full head of hair and have used Cedel Anti-DD shampoo for as far back as I can remember. Any departure from using it results is a return of the problem.

Best I have tried – I had tried other so called anti dandruff shampoos but they all seemed to lose efficacy after a few months. Have now been using Cedal for many years and it has been totally satisfactory.

Does the job – I bought this based on price, as I believed I would only need to use it a few times for it to take effect. I was prepared for it to not work and leave my hair dry and looking unruly, but I risked it. In fact, it exceeded my expectations and has rid my scalp of dandruff on the second application! It didn't leave me with any irritation at all (those… Read more

Don't underestimate Cedel anti dandruff shampoo, it has worked really well for me.

Probably the best anti-dandruff shampoo available – I have suffered dandruff and oily scalp for over 25 years. Have tried many products, including tar-based shampoos, Selsun, and other products containing Zinc Pyrithione (i.e. Head & Shoulders). Whilst Zinc Pyrithione based products seem to work best for me, Cedel Anti Dandruff shampoo appears to work the best - probably because it has a higher… Read more

concentration than other products (2%). But I need to stress that you need to shampoo your hair just about every day to keep the itchiness under control. My friend who is a GP actually recommends this product to his patients. The only downside is that because of the high Zinc Pyrithione concentration, it can sting the eyes a little, but it's not too bad. Work better than most other Zinc Pyrithione based anti-dandruff shampoos. Can sting the eyes a little.

Awful – I would steer clear of it! I absolutely hated the smell and effect on my hair. I saw no improvement on my dandruff. It seemed to strip the lustre and colour out of my hair. (Natural colour, my hair is not dyed.) Guest in our house tried it and his shades of grey were turning white. Will never purchase again. Inneffective, smell, stripped hair.
