all shape as dumped in boxes underneath heavy items * Ripped off for a further 6,000 + Euros at this end whilst they delayed delivery claiming it was delayed by customs, but then not being able to provide any documentation from customs to back this up * Multiple items damaged beyond repair, and the insurance then trying to wangle out of payment. * Delicate ornaments thrown in boxes and broken * Bose speakers broken * Absolutely no help to rectify, and boycotting emails thinking we will go away. (We have already raised the issue with the ACCC and consumer affairs who have heard about them before, and are in the middle of preparing our legal case to claim for damages)

The list could go on for 2 pages. I'll save the rant. Trust us Avoid like crazy, they are disgusting to deal with, and once have your money the care is nil. (The other reviewers experiencing the same are correct)

like to say for my recent move from Brisbane to Cairns, recently in 2018, your staff, Nelson, Jason, Aaron, Aaron and Aiden, were great. On my move from Chess Portsmith Store, Qld to my new residence at 34 Greendale Close Brinsmead, Cairns QLD, that Rob, Daniel & Nigel, were also great to deal with.

All your staff, were very professional, in their performance, appearance, they were courteous, very approachable, and the job as a whole, was completed in a very timely manner.

They all shook our hands (Bruce & myself), when the job was completed, and thanked us for using Chess Removals.

It was also commented that they really like working with Rob Pantic, and that he treats them like they are “actually people, not just arms and legs”. Rob in particular said that Rob Pantic is the best Operations Manager they have had.

service we received. Nothing was ever a problem for Chess Moving.

This was a very large move from one end of the country to the other, over highways, railroads and the sea crossing over the Bass Straight. Incredibly two full containers arrived, three counting the special airplane container, with no damage or breakages.

The vintage Pietenpol travelled very well and drew quite a bit of attention in the neighbourhood when it rolled out of it's dedicated container without a single scratch. All the special care and attention in securely accommodating the fragile aircraft sure paid off.

We hope this will be our last move, but if we do move again we will certainly call Chess Moving.
