Harassment and threats from this business for returning faulty item – I had a very terrible experience with this seller. for my work, as I needed the plates to fully clasp evenly and most straighteners I had used did not have this issue. I straight away put the item back in the box and sent them a return request with photos, they accepted the return request and apologised initially. Their emails with the return label landed in my spam, once sent back.

I had no intention of wasting more time with it. I also noticed eBay had taken down their listing for violation, which had nothing to do with me. Assumed potentially may have been others complaining about the item as well. The seller received the item and confirmed it was in perfect condition with a text message and email, then took it upon herself to continue in the email with lots of accusations, legal threats for reviews being left and personal attacks and saying I am banned from purchasing from them etc... I was extremely shocked, was not expecting this kind of email which was out of the blue, also I did not intent to repurchase from them again given their product did not meet standards from the start, nor did I intended to leave a review etc.

They were extremely unprofessional, I continued to respond to them in a professional manner so that it may be something they can learn, however the seller continued with their rude email responses, which included further accusations, mocking and personal attacks. I had never seen anyone especially in Australia communicate with a customer in such a disgusting manner. I reported them to ACCC and shared the full email thread which is now on their record for future customer complaints, and have shared my honest experience in hopes that no one else has to deal with such harassment from a business.
