noticed ice on the back wall of the freezer and saw water under the crisper drawer. I contacted Chiq customer service and the service technician found out that the freezer fan had stopped working, it was covered by ice. He fixed it and told me that he had checked that other parts were working well. But things only got worse, soon after I saw that snow and more ice and was forming in the freezer. It made loud banging noises and food was rock solid and had ice crystals. Once I tried to take out a piece of cake but simply couldn’t even I had cut the cake in pieces. I had to take the whole cake out and a part of it was wasted. I also noticed that the fridge wasn’t cold enough, food felt warm, butter blend was soft and I also had to throw out milk that smelled so bad. I have rang Chiq customer service so many times and been always asked to leave a message. Have left several messages but nobody has returned my calls. Last week I finally rang the shop where I bought the fridge from. They promised to contact Chiq and tell them to call me without delay but to this date nobody from their customer service has rang me. The last few weeks have been distressing and no words can describe well enough how shocked and deeply disappointed I am that Chiq has ignored all my calls. Eventually I turned off my fridge and will try later to see how it works. I have used a bar fridge that keeps my food perfectly cold even the fridge hasn’t been used for years. Before I bought this Chiq fridge my old fridge had lasted for more than 10 years.

Best customer service I have experienced in a long time – Was missing a part when I purchased ur but the warranty team was so easy to deal with aus post lost the parcel 2 times and she still sent me another 1 to my mums house I can’t complain at all about them!! and the fridge has now been running for a couple of months with no issues!! Great for solo living – I've had this fridge for almost 2 years and it has definitely done the job. While it is small, it's still fine for 2 people and even 3! Great value for money. You do need to make sure the door shuts properly but aside from that I can't really fault it. Show details ·  1

the cyclic defrost cuts in All running off a cheap pure sine wave 12v to 240v inverter So the fridge performance has been great the freezer freezes everything rock solid the fridge cools very well But as one person said You have to be careful to close the doors properly A few times I've thought it closed only to have a second look to find it slightly open But other than that it's great Cheers

Not like my old fridge/freezer – Freezer isn’t fully freezing bread. Fridge isn’t deep enough above the crisper for milk, water bottles etc. Door is too easy to open both fridge and freezer. haven't overstocked it. If ypu keep a lot of stuff in your fridge/freezer then I would go for a bigger size so that you don't block the freezer vents and overwork the compressor. Will update after 6 months but so far extremely satisfied with it.

Impressive fridge – Chiq was an unknown brand to me. I was attracted by the energy rating, size, price and the features. It was under 350 dollars and came with a 5-year warranty when I bought it from Appliances Online 2 months ago. I live in a unit so that the size of this fridge is perfect.
