I have had this fridge for 2 years the black marks inside have appeared since I first plugged in at first I had thought was from the packaging but have cleaned and has returned every time and thats when the marks come off. When i called they said why haven't u called sooner, i have moved 3 times in this period, stuff in storage for a period of time sustained a back injury so unfortunately i did have other things going on and i figured when i had time it was under warranty anyway. These marks return with in a couple days of cleaning every single time without fail. I have reached out to chiq as its getting beyond a joke and is not normal. I have owned many friges in my life and keep mine extremely clean. They have told me its due to cleaning maintenance not being done and its not a warranty thing also been told it dust or dirt. Customer service very rude and telling me basically its my problem. I refuse this is the case as its in the entire fridge and also the freezer. It has a 7 year warranty. After 2 days arguing they said they will send a assessor out but its not a warranty thing and I will be charged. I will never purchase the brand in anything especially after how I've been treated and possibly stuck with a health hazard fridge with an out of pocket $785.25 My email ( [Content Removed] )
Purchased in at The Good Guys Physical store for $660.

Well gee I really appreciate u contacting me instead of on a review board. The assessor did noting but look inside of the fridge for one minute he was here he did no other inspection on the fridge what so ever. Regardless when I first purchased as i would appreciate its not a normal tye of mould and i thought it was marksor residue from the packaging tape/plastic which I have cleaned and hoped it would resolve. It has progressively gotten worse from the time i plugged it in. I have had quite a lot going on personally so this was really not on my high priority list at the time with sustaininga back injury. . It was only when i had shown family and they pointed out that it is not normal and possibly a mould which is in the plastic as it is not a surface mould. As I've said I have never in my life owned a fridge with this problem and definitely is not a normal occurrence. This will not be the end of the matter.

Afternoon Jodie, Thank you for your review. We’re sorry to hear you are dissatisfied with the outcome of your case. This matter was reviewed by our management team, and the photos provided were assessed prior to advising the claim outcome. In addition, an independent service inspection was arranged, and the findings were consistent with mould/mildew within the cabinet liner rather than a manufacturing fault. In this instance, the reported concern was raised approximately two years after purchase, and based on the assessment findings, it was not considered a manufacturing defect.
