Mad sick need helpful to pay day like comes in handy when struggling for food debt also good for white goods when your stuck n good to no I can rely when I'm in a down fall

Worst company ever to borrow from

Supposed to be one of your valises customer but yet you have fraudently added fees to my loan customer service is appalling and apparently they blacklist you when you are indeed paying the loan off

Rip off

Have a loan for $500 have paid $632 on the first payment they still want another $264 told them not to take any money out of my account till I get a response from ACCC

Screw you

Thanks to these rip offs I've agreed to make 4 payments on Tuesdays of $240, (loan was $500) it's Monday and they've just taken $500 out of my account leaving me in negatives and can't buy nappies or formula for my baby. Give me my money back.

These guys are the most incompetent of companies out there beware no service what so ever!!.29 emails as many texts replied we will contact shortly what a joke.


Rip offs

I am currently disputing with these people...i got a loan for $250 in october 2018, so far Ive paid way over the amount loaned. Only because I had a crisis in funds unexpectedly i had to decrease amount of my repayments but they were still getting money from me...and on friday 1st february 2019, i decided to payout the remainder amount of $19.25 and found out today it didnt go through. I dont know why as the money is still in my account and today they have sent my loan debt to Milton...um on my statement which i printed 1st february 2019...it had $19.25 left to payout...it is now 4th feb 2019 and now payout amount is $493.25? My bank account had more than enough to cover $19.25 and even today I have enough...i honestly think they want more money...they are by far the worst to deal with and the wait time when you call is ridiculous, ive been on hold for one hour n a bit n due to this length ive run out of credit...ive sent emails along with my statement i recieved last week n today...no gud Cigno you guys Are the worst...DO NOT go to them for money they are a rip off...and they will bleed out all your income...


Horrible

I recieved a $175 loan and have paid back nearly $500 and still owing $250! They were taking money out on my pay day, then with no notice they started taking it out the day before, causing the money to be bounced back and having me to pay an extra $200, this happened twice, which is ridiculous. Also while i was overdrawn in my bank from cigno i recieved $50 and $40 that cigno took and never returned nor did they use that money to pay back my loan. I have sent an email to customer service already to get no reply. DO NOT GO THROUGH CIGNO. I wish i read these reviews before i did.

Cigno Loan Sharks - There are cheaper and safer alternatives

This company clearly states that it is not subject to the National Consumer Credit Protection Act 2009, thereby allowing them to charge exorbitant fees and repayments, more than likely to the most vulnerable people of society (myself included, being on Carer Payment).
Not only do they take advantage of legal loopholes in order to exploit the vulnerable, but they're also manipulative in their practises, such as bombarding you with texts (it's very alluring to borrow with constant reminders when you are always struggling financially), or offering loan amounts that are obviously unreasonable to the applicant (but benefits Cigno via higher interest).
I wanted a $150. loan (to tide me over until pay day) but the only option they offered was $500. , with an interest of $227.90 (includes same day payment fee) within 16 days repayment.
I certainly would not recommend Cigno as an option for a loan.
If you must borrow from a Pay Day lender, borrow from a lender that operates under the National Consumer Protection Act, where the rates/interest/fees will still be high, but far more reasonable than Cigno's rates.

Cigno is not regulated by the National Credit Act — which protects consumers from unconscionable conduct — and is not subject to rules capping the amount of interest customers can be charged.

Most expensive on the market

The fees and charges are outrageous very expensive.
Customer service is very bad operating from India.I won't be using them again.

Highway Robbery Stay Away

I took a loan for $350 and I have paid back $1035.65 actually I agree I don't think these rates are legal I am going to put in a complaint to consumer affairs and I advise everyone who has used them to do the same thing, hopefully they will then be under investigation a be put out if business or have to apply with Government Legislation. They take full advantage of people when they need a little help Robbery Stay Away.

Took a $300 loan and now i owe $1500 because i had to leave the country on a family matter . I am taking this to current affairs so anyone else in the same situation please contact current affairs as the more the better .scaming the poor is not ok

One Word... DODGY! Don't use CIGNO

I paid out my loan on the 31st and it still isn't reflecting on my account... just got a message saying I have a repayment due on 11/2 sorry guys nice try, not getting anymore of my money. Why are all the contact numbers disconnected? They don't even deserve 1 star!


I find them amazing

Ive had nothing but good experiences with cigno loans. Especially given my credit rating they could of easily said no but they gave me a go.

Money was in the account right on the time they the automated text said it would be. No dramas at all.

Yeah, you pay back a fair bit more than some other payday loaners. But thats all in the terms and conditions and the contract you agree to?? Everyone's pretty quick to hate on them when they have to pay back, but I bet you were all for it when you finalised the loan.

Will continue to go through them :)

Is this company operating within the law

I borrow $350 and have repay $560 Back within 30 days are these rates legal I call it highway robbery stay well clear of cognitive loans and if everyone that's been taken for a ride report it.

Be Warned: The MOST EXPENSIVE Loans in Aus

This company is off the charts with loan fees & charges of around 100% - 300%. I did a few $300 loans last year & with payment deferral fees paid back $600 in total each time. I had to accept in the end this place is just WAY TO EXPENSIVE & I went back to using Cash Converters (another f_cked up business profiting from the poor & disadvantaged)
I wouldn't recommend this business.

RIP off

I applied for 150 $ loan when I got approved and went to the contract it told me I got approved for 500 why does this happen it's the 2nd time this has happened
