Turned out to be yet another bad real estate I've been through! Story of my life! – Tried to take bond under false pretences-of course took them to court & won..But it's not good enough as a very good tenant I am & they accuse of all these false things to as it turns out"(get the bond on vacation of premises)as they've "got their eyes on the prize".

Appalling. Rude. No Regards for Tenant Rights. Completely Unprofessional – I'd give zero stars if I could, run by immature kids - cost cutting at every turn, lose documents and lie and say they are in the mail. Run away - far away. Watch them plaster some glib B/S praise immediately after this.

had it on the market within 24 hours with great photos etc. We did 2 open houses over 2 weekends and had 4 offers of which I accepted one and sold that very 2nd weekend at the price i wanted. \

I could recommend City Group Realty any higher..Great service, and Brett was a great guy to deal with and quiet young to be so professional

Slow, incompetent and useless – City Group Realty is clearly run by a bunch of young and immature people that do not know what day it is. If you try to apply for any of their properties be prepared for a MASSIVE delay whilst they 'process' the applications. What a joke... we waited for 2 weeks after applying just to be told nothing. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Great service and Communication – City Group to the rescue What can only be described as a real estate nightmare with another company, City Group Realty saved our day and sanity. I can't say enough about the staff with their communication, an anywhere, anytime attitude, smart and effective marketing of the product(in this case our home) and more importantly driven for results. Highly recommended.

Excellent!!! – I have used City Group three times now. Their service is excellent, their systems all seem to work as I was kept well informed, we were able to check and approve all our advertising and brochures and say which photos we wanted used. All three times they have negotiated well and gotten me a higher price than expected. I will continue to use their services.

Absolutely the worst and absolutely NOT recommended – The list of issues we have had with City Group Realty who managed our rental property is extensive and includes: 1. Withholding of rent without reason or explanation (rent was received after a complaint was made). 2. Incorrectly charged sundry fees (these were refunded after complaint). 3. manager handling property left the company and another property manager was appointed.

4. Scheduled inspections not carried out and were only finally carried out months later at our insistence (and after numerous phone calls) when we suspected there were problems.

5. When the inspection was eventually undertaken (after extensive delays) it was discovered there were up to four additional people residing at the property who were not named in the lease.

6. Failure of the property manager to keep us informed about what was happening and what the expectations were and what follow-up had been undertaken regarding this and subsequent matters.

7. A number of instances where regular financial statements were not received. Statements were only received after complaint was made.

8. Property manager went on holidays and City Group Office did not advise us that she was not available to return our calls.

9. Routinely Property Manager was slow to return phone calls.

10. Failure to effectively manage the exit of the tenants in terms of return of keys – six weeks after the tenants vacated.

11. The tenants vacated on 23 April 2014 with rent owing. The final payment was not received into our account from the bond until more than seven weeks after the tenants had vacated and only after a Letter of Demand was sent.

Positively the worst real estate dealing we have ever had with any agent. Absolutely NOT recommended.

Job Well done – We enlisted the services of City Group Realty to purchase a property for us in Broadbeach as we work long hours and have a large family. We dealt with Brett who was fantastic. Worst Realty on Gold Coast – Hey folks, i would not recommend city group realty to anyone. They don't respect tenant privacy and rights, they are also making up their own rules. This group may be good to the landlords but they are terrible to tenants, my friends were also renting trough city group and they had heaps of troubles. Mates think twice before you chose city group realty.... No respect for tenant rights and laws

A stress free life – I have 4 rental properties which I managed myself. After several years of more bad tenants than good ones and several renovations a friend suggested I put the units in the hands of an agent. City Group Realty was recommended to me. I could not be happier with their friendly professional service. They have put excellent tenants into my units and I now have a stress free life. we had a inspection then I get a call a work saying the place is good but vacuum the carpet as it doesn't look like I ever done it, I was so angry as she is looking for damage and Im a clean person but just cos there was bits of plastic bits from tree .

Then moving out wasnt much better they recommended a cleaner cost me 600 for 1 tiny bedroom place then calls me up saying looks like an amiture done it and wanted to deducted my bond, this went on for weeks and also she completely forgot about my 2 weeks upfront I paid at the start having to go through I'll my bills to work out she definatly ows me money and she fianly admitted it but then forgot to pay me and ignored my calls. So after all this she has no idea why she pisses me off. My money apparently will be transferred Monday as they forgot City and guilds R The worst real estate

What a relief to find such professionals who keep me so well informed and communicate so well as I have found in the past with others this to be a problem.

Even bigger plus my property is almost never unoccupied.When a tenant does move out it is only ever a week between and a new tenant is in.

I think this may be due to so much effort taken on getting decent photos to show case what a lovely property it is.
