Clipsal

Clipsal use to be terrific before Schneider bought them, now at industrial sites their 56 series isolators and outlets seem to break within a year. Their plastic they use has gone downhill, usually cracking around where the screws are to hold the unit to the base (which then lets in water and causes a short circuit). Really disappointing as I'm… Read more
not too sure who else to go with instead. Clipsal have certainly dropped their quality, but it's not like they're as cr#p as Deta
Clipsal used to be good, I have CBUS 2 controllers and they have worked for over 20 years flawlessly , I had the electrician upgrade my switchboard and installed CLIPSAL RCBO upgrades RCBE220/30S, worst decision and product I have used, 3 years in 1 has failed and crickets from Clipsal, not even a they have X warranty and they are out of… Read more
warranty, should last much longer than that in a residential switchboard.
Avoid there ResiMax products as the build quality is poor at best, go with a better product
Have had a mixed experience with Clipsal. Some products are excellent and reliable, while others fall short and feel cheaply made. It really depends on what you pick. Would be great to see more consistency across the range. Show details

No contact at all possible with this company – We have Clipsal light switches in our home and they have been most unsatisfactory. I contacted Clipsal by email on February 2 re this asking if spare parts are available as they are very expensive switches and almost a month later no reply even fader confirmed receipt of my email . Not good enough
Beyond the Call of Customer Care – Some years ago I replaced all the light switches and 4 power points with Saturn models [they are the ones with a glass like surface that are scratchproof and excellent for cleaning and shine in the dark] in my home. Although not cheap the concept was excellent. Over time the black backing plate on the switches [bit that is attached to the wall]… Read more
had somewhat disintegrated and become unstable and some of the hooks of the light switches where the glass plate is attached to the backing plate had broken off. After contacting Clipsal Schneider arrangements were made after production of photographs via their state representative to replace the lot. No arguments, no life stories, no accusations, no it was all your fault etc. etc. etc. Obviously I was very impressed and appreciative to this company for having stood by me and not deserting me because I was not a tradesman. Both wife and I will not forget this gesture and as a consequence will always be their customers.
NO Service!! – I assume this is the same Schneider that supplies Airflow fans. They have failed to reply to three emails. I am going to complain to Fair Trading to see if they can get reply.
Refuse to replace faulty products – I contacted Clipsal about my faulty sensor light - a known design fault that is even mentioned on their site. It is still under warranty but they refuse to even reply.
Please return my call to verify the cost charged against the service provided – I left multiple messages and attempts to call to clarify and double check my job; but am still waiting. This is urgent please consult. I now a mistake in the service delivered and need to rectify in consultation with Clipsal asap. When I ring the message says to leave message all the time.
