Effective tablets against flu. However you have to take two tablets for effective solution against flu. Price also reasonable. Only $8 for 10 tablets. HIghly recommended. 4/5.

You mean, Pass it on! – I think the 'soldier on' catchphrase is appallingly irresponsible. More like 'Pass it on'. Stay away from people if you're sick and contagious, and especially don't take pills that also hide the fact that you're sick!

Follow-up  · Still the Codral ads encourage people to go out and spread their germs around, whilst disguising their illness by cutting down their observable symptoms. I hate Codral.

I'm still alive! – So glad I finally bought this after cold after cold all this winter. Now I have the flu! Shaking and trembling, fevered, diarrhea, coughing up a lung that doesn't help having emphysema! Body aches and skin crawling - ugh, thought I was close to death and redoing my will. So, I took 2 of the daytime tablets 4 hours ago and lay on my death bed and… Read more

wallah! now I'm much brighter, still coughing but runny nose not so bad and more energy without muscle pain and more energy and able to get up and deal with life without saying my prayers ad nausea um. Time to take my 2nd lot for the day and hope the relief continues.

Fantastic for those on blood pressure medication or those who are drug tested at work – I can see more negative comments than positive, but this product certainly deserves a spot on the chemist shelf. Because I am on blood pressure medication I can't take regular decongestants. I can however take these :) Also, my husband works in an environment where they can be randomly drug tested, whilst I am no doctor, my husband has been… Read more

advised that he can take these as they have no illicit drugs in them, nor do they have any other ingredients in them that can show up as an illicit drug in a routine drug test. Please see your gp before acting on my advice. Suitable for people with controlled high blood pressure Nothing

Overpriced paracetamol + placebo with side-effects – Phenylephrine hydrochloride has been proven to not help cold and flu symptoms. At all. It's rubbish. Completely ineffective. It does have a nice list of side-effects though, resulting in it actually making you feel worse. Only the paracetamol in this is useful, and you can get that by itself much much cheaper. Don't buy this! Made me sicker. Codral, Sudafed etc: STOP SELLING PHENELYPHRINE HYDROCHLORIDE AS A DECONGESTANT YOU LYING GRUBS! Show details

Junk - what has happened to what was an excellent product – Am a long time user of these, using them to get through a day of work. Had a bad cold and took two as usual. Usually feel their effect in 30 mins. Waited…. Nothing…. Then I see “new formula” on the pack. It’s junk, I will look for another brand. A pity, these were very effective. Show details

Feel ripped off and very disappointed as well as unwell – Yesterday I decided to go and purchase corral as we only had a generic brand in the medical box that wasn’t cutting it with my runny nose. I have used codral for years and could back up their old ads saying “soldier on” as I had done this on many occasions. This new formula doesn't do the job it used to and after taking it do not feel any… Read more

better. The only ones benefitting are the tissue company, I guess I will be buying more of those today. Don’t waste you money on this so called medication

Waste of Good Money – Doesn’t work at all. You may as well buy the $2:00 paracetamol from the supermarket. Also made me feel nauseous and didn’t do anything for my sinus or blocked nose.  Show details

New formula sucks – This new formula should be taken off the shelves as it's basically just an expensive paracetamol. The original pseudoephedrine formula actually worked, and now you're made to feel like a criminal if you ask for it.  Show details

Feel worse.. now have tummy pains and nausea on top already having migraines – (I bought the day and night sinus one which is ment to be better) I've had migraines for weeks caused by blocked sinus's. For weeks now and In the past I've always been put on codral day and night to help my sinus's and relieve the migraines.. instead it's given me massive tummy aches ON TOP of already feeling nasty. And the feeling of… Read more

needing the toilet non stop. And with a migraine it dosnt help as it hasn't done anything . In the past it has always been a fantastic product but now with the new formula it's done nothing to help ease or elevate except caused more pain and sickness.. and to make matters worse I was looking forward to a decent sleep.. omg this crap kept me awake all night and when I fell asleep I am in a light sleep and can hear everything..

The new formula is crap.. and I won't be paying $22.00 for it again. They have just made a expensive placebo basically

Epic fail – I was counting on this to provide relief from runny nose, runny eyes, sore throat and sneezing. It used to work. I started to panic when it was offering absolutely NO relief, at this time no body wants to think they have something other than cold or flu! Then I realised the formula has changed and there’s nothing useful in it. Don’t waste your money and don’t be alarmed when it doesn’t work. Show details

Horrible! – I started feeling sick with a flu so I took 1 codral relief 6 signs. It helped a little but I was also taking other stuff like Strepsils and throat gargle. It kept me up most of the night and the next day I still felt awful so I took another at lunch time and didn’t help much at all I still had chills and body aches. made me feel sick in the stomach. (I took it with a small amount of food) So this is the second night taking them and my heart is racing, I can’t sleep even tho I haven’t slept and I honestly just feel as though I haven’t taken anything. Maybe I need a higher dose but didn’t want to feel even more sick in the stomach.

I realise now I should have brought the night time ones but I took it at lunch time and still can’t sleep.

Makes me nauseous – I had regular flu symptoms and took this to ease the bad muscle aches and temp fluctuations but it made me feel really sick. 20 minutes after taking two day tablets I ended up vomiting. I felt nauseous for three days after. So bad. Made it much worse. Bring back the codeine formula- at least it was somewhat relieving. Show details

No good!!! – I've still got a box of this with codeine (new formula) & each time I tried for my colds or stuffy nose & headaces, it's made me feel worse. What a joke – I tried the new codral without codeine. Why bother? Don’t bother. It does nothing but gives one a dry mouth. What a joke. I will not be recommending this to anyone!

New Formula doesn’t work – Don’t bother. New formula doesn’t have codeine (due to laws from Feb 1st), and it doesn’t have pseudoephedrine (which has been replaced with the poor substitute phenylephrine). So basically these are useless for treating nasal congestion and the aches associated with the flu. Probably better off sucking strong lozenges and using ibuprofen. You really used to be able to ‘Soldier On with Codral’, but not any more.

Waste of money – I was prescribed this from the doctor after having a cold. After 3 days straight I noticed no change and decided to check the ingredients. There's no codeine yet I have to get a script for if and it still cost the same. Obviously codeine is the magic ingredient and and pointless without it.

Why change formula from original that was working – I have always bought codral cold and flu tablets bought the new formula (relieves 6 signs of flu) did absolutely nothing, They have taken out the codeine but not replaced it with anything but still charging the same amount I won't be recommending codral brand to anyone at all. Disappointed with new formula does not relieve flu symptoms at all.

Really bad – On my honeymoon with a cold and the pharmacy only have this codral new formula. Five days down the drain and counting. Just makes me really tired and dizzy. I’m going to stop taking it. It doesn’t stop a runny nose or headache. So disappointed.
