supplying and distributing coffee beans, coffee machines and associated hardware to consumers in Australia via the website 'www.coffeemachinesbeansandservice.com.au'.
Since October 2024 NSW Fair Trading has received 17 complaints against the trader with a total consumer detriment of $52,957, relating to pre-paid online orders with concerns that:
consumers are not informed at the time of purchase that goods are required to be sourced from overseas there are substantial delays in receiving goods ordered goods are not delivered and the trader ceases communication when consumers request a refund.
Same as the others. Bought a bar fridge, no delivery, lots of the same excuses. Luckily paid for via PayPal, so could claim a cash back. Definitely do not pay by debit card. Scam
Ordered a coffee machine early May with a promised it would be delivered by may. Took the payment but no machine. They do not answer the many calls I have tried to make nor the messages I have left. If they are a business they have the worst experience. It feels like a scam

wait periods I requested a refund and after even more emails, I FINALLY received an email back saying it's been forwarded to accounts which was 2 months ago. Multiple futher emails and calls I've received no contact in over two months and currently contacting consumer affairs to attempt to receive my money back
Company also operates under Coffee beanery, carbon copy website, same ABN, Same phone operator robot voice.

Dodgy Company. Do not buy anything off them. Bought a fridge back in Jan 2025, still no delivery. No return messages or emails. Taken my money and gone quiet. Sales guy " [Name Removed]" sounds like a nice guy, but a total moron! Quick to take Credit Card payments! Then silence....
Zero stars. Total SCAM! DO NOT BUY!!! This Scammer also operates from the Coffee Beanery website https://www.coffeebeanery.com.au/. I saw an Expobar home coffee machine advertised online at the CoffeeBeanery website. It was on sale for a few hundred dollars less than other retailers. He told me that the machine had come off sale, but due to it still being advertised at the sale price, he would honour that price if I could transfer the funds that day via bank transfer (i.e., I could not transact with Afterpay). He sent me an invoice via email with a link to the invoice itself; in the same way other reputable service/retailer providers have done in the past, so no suspicions were raised. I transferred $2000. He asked if I could provide a Perth address to save on postage, as I live in regional WA. I have friends in Perth, so I was able to accommodate that request. Since 20 March, I started receiving emails stating it is on its way / promises it will be sent, but he refused to send tracking info or an order number. I then researched reviews for this company on this product review website. I was alarmed to see other reports of similar. No one is answering or returning my phone calls or emails now. I have asked for a refund and still have no reply. I have looked up the ABN and found that it was first registered in Sept 2024 in NSW and then changed address to QLD in April 2025. Both CoffeeBeanery and CMB&S have the same ABN. I have reported to Scamwatch, NSW Fair Trading, my bank, and the police. Someone needs to stop these criminals. I have recently taken this case to NCAT and I encourage anyone else who has been scammed to do the same.
I upgraded to their Hand Coffee Grinder, and the difference is night and day! It’s smooth, easy to adjust, and perfect for getting the right grind size for my espresso machine.
Absolutely appalling service, they took our money for a purchase early February 2025 and still to this day, 11th April 2025 we have not received our item or a refund after multiple emails, calls and text messages. Even though they said they would refund due to not delivering the item as per agreed tiemline.

Purchased a coffee machine worth $5000, I never received this product. All my calls/emails are ignored and never returned. Worst business ever.
Don't buy through these people. Bought in December saying they had stock and now they are not answering phones or responding to emails. I wish I had seen this review in December. Do your self a favour and buy through someone else and buy through Paypal.

ship, was polite. Emailed again 05/01/2025 asking for shipping details as still no dispatch notification, got a reply saying logistics team returning the next week (12/01/25). Got no update, so emailed again 14/01/2025 and got no reply. Emailed company 20/01/2025 saying I was raising refund via PayPal, received a phone call within minutes from the same male, apologising and promising shipment by end of week, then no further contact. Emailed company again 02/02/2025 advising was raising refund by PayPal as now 2 months since order and no shipping notification. Never got a reply.
Scammers – Scumbag scammers, do not purchase from these low lives. Took my $3750 for a grinder, webpage said in stock and every time I enquire as to where my product is I get the same story. They say they will check with the supplier and never get back to me. Asked for a refund but just ignored me. Bring on "A current affair", they need to be exposed.

Scammers…….Stole our money – Scammers………Scammed us out of $2600.00. Purchased a new coffee machine, never got delivered. Asked for a refund. Don’t take our calls. Extremely rude on the phone once they’ve taken our money. Don’t deal with this business. Our Solicitor will be in touch to deal with this matter.
Avoid this business Its under multiple names and websites as well – On June 14 2024 I ordered and paid by bank transfer more than $5000 for a Coffee machine and milk fridge that I was told was "in stock". then offered to repay me $500 per week provided i remove the 1 star review. Unfortunately, I only received $1000 then no further payments. That was 2 weeks ago. You have been warned. Please also note the "replacement invoice I was send after a month had a different company name and ACN and address. The new name was Coffee Beanery Group Australia. Also they have a second website www.coffeebeanery.com.au. This is the subject of the fair trading warning. There have been more than $150,000 outstanding claims for no product or services provided. There are multiple outstanding court cases for the Director, [Name Removed]. (also calls himself "[Name Removed]" or "[Name Removed]".
From the "about section on their website: Please see https://abr.business.gov.au/ABN/View?id=54680261509. It shows this business not even registered for GST. Yet I was charged GST on my invoice. This is a rehash of the older business and was only registered 27 August 2024. You can see the first invoice ABN then the "updated" invoice they sent me ALL have different ABNs
