Col's Body Shop - Smash Repairs provides Gold Standard service. My claim was approved by APIA within a couple of days, a week before the Easter Break. I contacted Josh at Col's Body Shop and mentioned that I would put the car in for smash repairs after the Easter break, and I will need it by the end of the week. Josh went out of his way to ensure that the car was delivered on time and even gave me a courtesy car for me to continue doing the voluntary work. The quality of work was extremely good. This was my first positive experience with Col's Body Shop, and I would recommend Col's Body Shop to everyone.
Josh deserves commendation for his customer centric approcach to business.
After a car accident, many people worry about how and where to repair their vehicle. I was no exception, but I decided to go with Col's Body Shop near my home. After the repair, I encountered a few issues, so I reached out to the shop manager, Josh. He meticulously checked everything, ensuring that every detail was addressed and worked hard to resolve the problems. I truly appreciated his dedication.
As a consumer, my initial doubts about choosing a repair shop turned into trust, and that trust transformed into a sense of joy when I saw my beautifully restored car. When selecting a repair shop, it's crucial to consider whether the owner is willing to step in and ensure any issues are fully resolved.
Col’s Body Shop, now in its third generation of business, comes highly recommended. I work in the medical field, and if any of my patients ever need car repairs after an accident, I would strongly recommend Col’s Body Shop.
Not worth a one star – Not worth a one star. My bitter experience start from the Col's assessor followed by bad repair job at the end. He is a customer repellent. They replaced my windscreen off centered, leaving uneven gap around the screen. Due to the gap at the bottom, the seal stay dislodged from the glass edge and pops out. The freshly painted bonnet having fish eye marks. They tried to push me to settle with this bad job. An assessor from my insurance company inspected my car upon my complain and he totally agreed with me. He rejected the paint job too even though Col's asked me to bring the car after the paint is fully cured. My assessor explained me that Col's is going to buff down the marks that makes the paint too thin causing to fail the paint in few years.(Dodgy job) They ruined my ceramic coating too while washing the car. Now I am bringing my car to an another repairer as directed by my insurance company So don't let your insurer to nominate Col's Body Shop.Avoid them at any cost.
Rude, Unprofessional, Inconsiderate – Staff are rude. Repairer staff helpful. Took my car in March after I reversed into pole. No one wanted to help - 40mins waiting in office!! I'm 49, unprofessional & disorganised! They said "come back in 4hr for a quote"?!?
UNETHICAL PRICING – Lackadaisical customer service! Overpriced, slap-dash “that’ll do” attitude, very, very questionable level of responsibility and trust-worthiness! Was quoted $300 less each time for the same repair. There was no follow-up contact as was promised. Initially came across as being engaged with the customer and then once job was booked, care level plummeted!
