Coles Group & Myer Gift Card

I was gifted a Coles Group & Myer Gift Card, I spend 2/3rds of it ok, 2 days later, I went to spend the balance. Card was declined, $0 balance. I came home a did a Check Balance online, the balance was spent in NSW (I live in Vic). BEWARE, THESE GIFT CARDS ARE NOT SECURE. I lost over $100. I contacted customer service, it will take 2 weeks for the investigation, who knows if I'll be refunded. DO NOT USE THESE CARDS,THEY ARE NOT SECURE.

Very clean and neat well organised great specials and this discounted food in one area. Helpful check out staff who opened check outs when they see you waiting especially if you don't use the self-serve check out highly recommend shopping at whiteman's edge/brabham coles

Coles ellenbrook clean well stocked . Hard to find some items due to placement. Not enough checkouts with operators on seem heavily rely on self serve checkouts

Went to coles Leopold today and wanted to purchase 6 gift cards for the grandkiddys. I noticed signage stating only 5 per customer but it was confusing as to which ones as the signage was also stating 10% off and i didnt understand which ones as there were all different sorts. The checkout women in the next register overheard me saying I'll come back for the other one. She embarrased me and was abrupt and told me no and bad luck if i have 6 grandkids to buy for as I can only have 5 !. There were other customers there who heard all this. I was so embarrassed! I asked to speak to the store manager who also wasnt nice to me who told me. You can go to another coles to buy one or come back tomorrow. Stating they were not allowing the same person to come back the same day and purchase more. I told Manager the staff member had told me i could come back and purchase one more.. she didnt like that demanding who it was that told me as she would be reprimanding him! Geezzz, I didnt want to get the young fella into strife so I didnt tell her exactly who he was! Makng me appear a liar! When I was told to go to another coles or come back tomorrow i said that was not going to happen. (For various personal commitments and I might add also that being 70 i didnt want to venture into crowds again before christmas! ) so I asked for the managers name then left the store, sat outside because I didnt feel well after what happened. A man approached me and asked me if i was okay. I told him what happened and that i was told if i came back into the store again to buy that one more gift card i would be refused! Hes offered to go in and purchase for me. He told me he asked at the register was there a limit on gift cards and was told no there wasnt! Before he came along i had rung 3 people to meet me there to buy that extra one for me! For me to do that I would have to have driven to east geelong to pick someone up specifically just to buy one more that i was warned not to come back in and try to purchase myself! I got 6 gifts cards BUT look at what i had to go through to get that extra one! Told i'd be refused untill tomorrow, I couldnt just go in quietly and purchase another as I was barred! I was treated unkindly and left with a bad experience shopping at the store!.

Coles gift cards suck – Received coles gift cards for Xmas an went to liquorland to use them an was told they are coles Myers not coles so they wouldn't accept them its just one big scam stick with woolworths you can use there gift cards with bws

dont buy myer gift cards – two $20 were refused. Because expired. Date if issue is written on the card. Expiry date is not. Also expiry - money handed over does no expire. Called gift card services they refused to help. Not happy. Dont ever buy anyone a Myer gift card

Can't use for online shopping. Why? – They don't let you use it for online shopping. It's hard to use at the checkout too, it's really most usuable at the self check out. Why don't they let you use it for online shopping? They make it as hard as possible to use. A bit of a scam.

Scamm payment tool – This platform has been hijacked by criminal groups , hackers in my case , fraudsters and absolutely nothing being done about it Whilst it has credibility in its essence, the reality cannot be ignored. Go Coles and the government.

I had to search long and hard to find something worthwhile purchasing at Myer (that wasn't way overpriced compared to elsewhere), and have no interest in buying anything else from this store - would much rather use at the other store options but now locked into using at Myer.

Would never buy this card as a gift, and hope I never receive one again.

Designed to fail? – First time I had used a gift card. The plastic polymer ? over the pin number was difficult to remove, and the pin number small and difficult to read. Robbery – A gift from my employer. Now expired, apparently. So Coles Meyer have taken something that was meant for me, and now refuse to honour it. In other words, they have robbed me. There can me no justification for their behaviour, as it would be worth less now than when purchased, due to inflation. If I take from them, I am arrested. If they take from me, they laugh. Not happy.

Didn’t Work – Received for Christmas 2022 and says cancelled. Myer will not help at all. Not fair Myer.

Absolute waste of money – You can only use this Gift Card at Myer and that is it. Myer has overpriced junk mostly and I found nothing there I would buy. You cannot redeem it for cash or anything else, and it cannot be used anywhere else. A complete waste of money which will go unused.

Waste of money. Worst possible gift for someone – Can't use for online purchases within Coles Myer group and you can't use it to buy other more useful gift cards like a Visa prepaid card or EFTPOS card. If you are a corporate buyer looking to purchase these for employees please reconsider.

Can't use to shop online – It is honestly surprising that this gift card won't allow you to use it online in today's day and age. Coles group need to do better.

my regular online grocery shopping at Coles. In the unlikely event I decide to go into a store it would be Woolworths, which I have found to be far superior to the local Coles store. Perhaps a charity such as Foodbank would find this card useful, you never know, Coles might even pop in a few extras for one of their official staff. If you are considering giving one of these as a gift, consider the actually useful Visa type gift cards to avoid disappointment.

Worse than a waste of time. No stars – Self isolating and chronically ill. Disabled. Can't drive. Hardly leave the house. Given Coles gift cards by a charity. Went to use them for my family's weekly Coles online shopping delivery.... Can't use them. This is rubbish. It's their card. They have deliberately set it up like this. I just want to know why. Husband bought these for our anniversay..sadly half dead – Hubby spent 18.00 on what he thought would be a lovely surprise..the surprise was the lilies did not open but fell off by mornings end. When i opened the flowers they were mushy at the stem from being old. Shame on you coles selling old rubbish like that!

Coles Myer Happy Birthday Card – The card lists many stores that take the card. Online purchases can only be made using this card through Target and Myer. Disappointing for such a large organisation.

you can not purchase their gift cards over the phone using a credit card. Rang their customer service line, told me to use a different browser, I was using the latest version of Google Chrome. Tried Firefox, same result. After being unsuccessful with payment for a third time, I called their customer service line, where they advised me that they would have to contact their IT department to unblock my credit card number?? I gave up and said no thanks!

Myer Gift Card Went to purchase a Myer gift card, instead did not allow me to input a separate delivery address, as I wanted to purchase the card as a gift. States on their website "Classic Gift Cards: Delivered via registered post up to 7 days delivery". When I spoke with a customer service idiot, they said it could take up to 14 days!!??? When I asked why I couldn't input a separate delivery address, they said that I had in fact purchased an e-gift card, when I had clearly purchased a physical one!! Then they told me to put my name as the recipient, with my friends delivery address, talk about dumber and dumber!

No wonder Myer is losing sales, MYER is definitely not my store, terrible service and everything is over priced!!
