Coles Low Rate MasterCard Questions & Answers

My account has either been locked and or closed. How do I get my statements and eNotices off them now? I need proof of closure and final statement to finalize a mortgage loan. So frustrated. I really don't want the hell of calling these people, it always is the worst experience.

You can use your Coles Mastercard at anyplace that accepts Mastercard. It doesnt have to specifically say "Coles Mastercard" and you can use it overseas as well, not just in Australia

I can answer this question. I have paid mine with cash at Australia Post before.

That’s the problem I can’t physically speak or find anyone to answer questions. The automatic answering machine sent me ‘round the twist’ to be honest.

All stores, Coles credit card is like any other credit card. The difference is when you pay with that cc at a Coles shop you earn more Fly Buys point.

So far I have paid off everything I know I've spent. I'm waiting for my next statement to see if I've been charged interest of my purchases again. I will do what you did. I've never had to cancel a card before. You've helped me more than me helping you!

Utilising the message link in your online account gives you written proof of your request then you can follow up by telephone to confirm the cancellation. You would need to owe nothing and have nothing pending or otherwise transfer your balance to another credit card which would give you a little more time interest free. Direct debits need extra attention and this is why it's such a pain to change cards.I love my Flybuys and that's why I put up with the Citi nonsense even though I'd had bad experiences with them in my business Life. My card was maxed but was paying. I wanted out after lots probs. Was given fees but argued for months. Eventually about 90%were paid back. Every time wrote date, name of person and time and relayed to talker

No point trying to contact them using the message link. Like most other things on their web page - it simply doesn't work......

Yes Sharna ,no problem there,widely accepted as it is a mastercard . It is the support centre is the trouble and accessing your account is where the trouble begins.the paytag was my favorite method of payment it was glued to my mobil phone.

To add mobile number:

1. Log in online.

2. Click 'My Profile'.

3. Click 'My Account Settings'.

4. Scroll down to 'Contact Information'.

5. Click 'Edit'.

6. Add mobile number.

7. Click 'Save.'

Yes and then the multiple late fees and excessive interest appear. Was told it is a common problem and will be resolved within 48 hours. I am still waiting after a week.

Yes I have had the same problem my money was paid by bepay but $300 has just disappeared. So amgry

I have also had the same problem. Numerous BPAY payments have not been applied to my card. I got an answer to a complaint last week saying it would be rectified, but still nothing. This is not satisfactory

The only alternative that works (apart from Direct Debit) is to take your cash and card to a post office.

Same thing happened to me today. Tried to book accomodation for a holiday and the payment wouldn’t go through even though there is ample credit..I did use it 2 weeks ago no problem
