Comfy Furnishings

Great value Leather bed and excellent service – This review is partly related to to the bed, but primarily about the service. Comfy Furnishings is a small factory type showroom in Sunshine, so I guess is a direct importer. They have beds, outdoor furniture and couches etc. $100 off, and it was unmarked. I was due to move into my new place in a week, so arranged the free delivery with Ben who seems to own/run the place. The new place 'fell thru', so I asked Ben if he minded keeping it a bit longer. No drama at all. It took me 6 odd weeks to find a new place so rang to arrange delivery. He was in Brisbane, but told me his niece could deliver the bed at any time I asked. Ben has a large delivery van (not truck), but it is a manual, so his poor niece made two trips in Ben's auto Captiva from Sunshine to my place in Travancore (it's next to Ascot Vale....no-one has heard of it) This took her about an hour and a quarter all up. At no time when I spoke to Ben or his niece did they make me feel like it was any trouble.

So I've had the bed about 2 months now, and so far so good. It's made well and Ben's niece gave me a tub of leather cleaner when she dropped it off, so it's is easy to clean. I priced similar/same beds in Snooze and a few other places at Highpoint and they were a good $400-600 more. Having said that, I can't attest to the amount of leather in Comfy's compared to Snoozes, but I can't tell the difference between the leather bits and the 'PU Leather' on mine. Excellent service, great product, great price.
