Reliable, heavy duty, large, expensive grinder – The K3 is a large, heavy duty coffee grinder like the ones you see at coffee shops. Most parts are made of metal so it looks more like a commercial machine than a domestic appliance. It grinds coffee very well, can be finely adjusted and, once adjusted, the grind setting does not drift. Does not have problems with static electricity build-up which makes some grinders messy to use. Never clogs.

This is a large and expensive machine. I am not sure many people who just drink 3 or 4 cups a day can justify paying so much for a machine that only grinds coffee beans but having tried the Sunbeam EM0480 and a few smaller grinders, I am not aware that there is anything smaller and cheaper that can do the job reliably.
