Complete Plumbing Qld

Get quotes from other companies – Work was carried out same day and was as far as I know done competently. However I find the billing process a bit challenging. I was surprised that what had seemed a simple job should involve 2 hours of labour. I had to take their word that the labour was necessary but charging for the time the plumber took to go and get the spare part… Read more
apparently required (of course it turned out not to be standard) as part of the labour seemed a bit unusual to me. Fortunately he did not have to go to Brisbane! My advice is that should you choose to use this company (I do not intend to do so again) then get everything itemised before you actually start the process
Beware of Receptionist – I am a pensioner and thru the Govt I get assistance from them in regards to plumbing services as well as other services. I needed a plumber and have used this company before so I requested to see the same plumber I had seen last year because I liked his personality. I requested that my toilet upstairs be looked at because it didn't flush and the… Read more
toilet downstairs be replaced with a new toilet with the hand basin and had already been told by the suppliers that I needed to get a plumber out to do a quote and check where the plumbing was in existence to replace it with the right toilet. The plumber came out and told me that the toilet upstairs had been turned off and showed me how to turn the water back on - there was nothing wrong with this toilet except for that. He then went downstairs and measured my toilet and handbasin and gave me the measurements to show to Tradelink whereby I was going to buy the toilet and handbasin from. I had already contacted other plumbers and they told me that to get a quote it would cost from $0 to $35.00. But if I used their services the price would be revoked. I used the services of this plumber because the first $200 is reimbursed to me from the Govt and passed onto the plumber so I thought this was great. I then had a problem with the handbasin that I ordered and was informed by the receptionist at the plumber's employ that the basin was too big and I immediately cancelled the order and replaced it with a small handbasin of 450 mm instead of 600 mm and the existing hand basin is 400mm (I didn't see a problem with the 450mm) but was informed by the receptionist that she needed to contact the plumber and the business owner to confirm this. I had not heard from her for 2 days and in the interim received a call from Tradelink to ask if they could order the replacement and so I contacted the receptionist at Complete Plumbing who informed me that she had not looked into the problem yet and therefore she had not spoken to the plumber or the owner with an attitude that displeased me so I asked her should I ring another plumber and she said yes. Well I did ring another plumber but I also rang the Govt agency and was informed that they charged me $110 for the call out. I find this hilarious for the work that the plumber did. (Which was measuring my toilet space). I was also informed that this was not the first complaint they had had from this company in regards to the receptionist. She is their first contact and had no customer service skills. What a shame there are people like this.
