Honest help – I thought a power supply went on my computer and went in to Computer Town to buy a new one. The guys in there offered honest advice on my issue and suggested the computer be brought in to check what was wrong. It was quickly determined that the power supply wasn't the problem ad they sorted the issue quickly and without fuss and with good humour. I couldn't have been happier and can thoroughly recommend them.

Great Value and Performance Since 1995 – I have purchased five (5) desktop computers from Computer Town Australia (and as they were previously known AUWPC), from my first Personal Computer running Windows 95, through successive newer machines running Windows 98, Windows XP, Windows 7 and now, my latest machine running Windows 10. The machines have always worked well and gave me top end performance for a much more competitive price than buying a name brand unit, allowing me to have custom features and hardware installed at less cost.
I use my computers for email, word processing, spread sheets, always using Microsoft products (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc) as well as AutoCAD and other specific programs. I have had no problems with any programs on the machines. They all have run games really well too!
I have upgraded the machines a couple of times, adding extra memory mainly as software demands required, again with no problems.
I have only had to return a unit for repair on two occasions. The first occasion was due to a failed power supply, after using the particular computer for in excess of 5 years. The power supply was replaced in 24 hours at a reasonable price. The second time was to replace a failed Seagate internal hard drive after almost 10 years use. While they were happy to replace the drive at a competitive price, I decided to purchase a new computer, ie update to Windows 7. Again, advice, assistance and service were excellent.
I have also purchased most of my peripherals from Computer Town Australia, including monitors, originally CRT and now LED, keyboards and mice, originally corded but now cordless, and printers, always Hewlett Packard due to their reliability, as recommended by Computer Town Australia. My current unit, a HP Deskjet 930C (colour inkjet) is now over 10 years old and continues to work faultlessly.
I purchased my latest computer, running Windows 10 in June 2018. I reviewed the options and prices that they had on their website, spoke to them at their store in Windang and customised the hardware a little before finalising the unit components. I picked it up a week later with all operating and application systems installed, in addition to customising the Windows 10 installation to run some Window XP legacy programs. They set it all up and it runs very well.
I strongly recommend Computer Town Australia.

Excellent advise, product and backup – I purchased a new Customised Desktop PC from this company 30 months ago. I discussed what I wanted it for with the salesperson and accepted their advice about specifications. I have certainly found the choice of a SSD drive for the OS and programs well worth the expense. It has proved to have been a great investment. I have had no physical problems with it at all and it suits my purpose. Additionally when I have had occasional software issues (after Microsoft Upgrades) they have been able to solve them remotely using Team Viewer. Additionally when my old printer suddenly lost access to my PC (thanks Microsoft upgrades) they solved the problem for me though it was not a fault with the PC. The staff are always supportive. A great company to deal with.
