Having all my tyres replaced today. #mobiletyreshop. Highly recommended. Great price for Continentals. Got notification technician Andrew was on the way and arrived on time. Andrew listened to what I had to say about my previous tyres. Got started. Pleasant and polite. Great experience. Highly recommended. Thank you.

Bad treadwear – Its traction, handling, and noise level are top-notch only when brand new. But I won't be buying it again as it lasted only 2 years, with mileage of 28,000 kilometers. As shown in the picture, it has already worn out. Show details

Flat out the best tyre I've ever had on my car. I had 245/45/r18s installed on my 2020 hybrid Camry on which I've had Bridgestones, Kuhmos and Austones and this tyre is by far the best. Super quiet which is a necessity as, with the hybrid system, the motor is off half the time so tyre noise can be very noticeable but in this case there is very… Read more

little noise, if any at all.

Handing is excellent in dry and wet.

One other interesting side benefit of choosing the 245 over the standard 235 is that it's fixed one of my biggest bugbears with the Camry which was it's turning circle. The continentals have given it a much better turning circle compared to the 235's.

I phoned Mobil Tyre Service and booked them to come to my home, put on a new tyre, take away the old one . It was booked to take place within a 2 hours time slot I requested. It happened as promised, all finished and no fuss of waiting in a tyre business, no spare had to be used temporarily. MTS offers a very broad range of tyre brands and sizes.

Very bad tyres – Not a good tyre, punctures really easily, brand new tyres bought 07/2024 and driven less than 2000km and already two punctures, the tyres that came with the car did over 60,000km and 0 punctures. You figure. Don’t buy unless you love fixing punctures every month. Show details

Worth the money – It took me a while to make a decision on new tyres, I like to do my research before spending bi money. I settled on the Continental Ultracontact, I am super happy with my choice, the car drives like new. Show details

Great alternative to OEM Tyre – Great alternative to OEM Pirelli which are so much dearer. Tyre performs just as good, great wet road traction and low road noise. So far tyre wear has show to be good Show details

Lasted for more than 74000kms – Purchased 4 Continental UC6 195 65 R15 in Adelaide from Cluse Bros Tyrepower, Parafield in June 2017 at -approx 66000km. Gripping both in wet and dry conditions were good. Wear is also good, make sure to rotate tyres. Definitely recommend these tyres if they are still made of the same quality. Switched to Bridgestone Tauranza Serenity plus at 139000km. Will definitely post review after few thousand kms. Show details

Great tyre! – These tyres are smooth but grippy, give excellent steering feel and great confidence in the wet. They are not the cheapest but I don't think it's worthwhile trying to save money on tyres. Recommended. Show details

3 year review-the best so far! – I bought 4 UC6 tyres 3 years ago from continental best drive wanneroo and they have performed exceptionally well especially in the wet roads and felt reassured. The grip is astounding compared to any other tyres so far.I have taken it on dirt and gravel roads while camping and although I shouldnt-it performed well.30,000kms so far and should be ok for another 15 to 20k. Show details

great addition – They are 235mm wide and hold the road well in all conditions They enhance the handling and are very good under braking They are medium durability because they are soft walled and I push the car because it is so good to drive.  Show details

I will be disappointed if these ever go away!! – 205/55R16 AWESOME! And I only have these on the front. I have had many tyres on many cars and driven professionally for years, I have zero complaints about noise or harshness but I am all about performance and frankly don’t care. My 2014 Corolla went from spinning/sliding on everything to phenomenal grip in all weather at both high speed cornering… Read more

and sharp/lower speeds. Yes it’s possible to spin or slide, but it’s a task to make it happen and the confidence they inspire when you want to floor it in first gear around a corner even in the wet is unlike anything I’ve ever driven on. While not cheap as chips they are hardly expensive either (shop around). I will absolutely buy these again! I drive the poor car hard and these are going to wear quicker because I now drive it harder. The car is still a Corolla so boring, but at least it’s more capable than ever before now.

Excellent - probably the most underrated tyres on the market – Fitted a full set of CONTINENTAL 225/65R17 1O2V ULTRACONTACT UC6 SUV to my Honda CRV some months back. I was disappointed with my Michelins I had on this vehicle as albeit lots of tread, were splitting in the rain grooves throughout at a mere 55 000km. So I decided to change to Continentals as my contacts in Europe, predominantly from Spain, all… Read more

rated the Continentals very highly. They were not wrong - these are probably the most underrated tyres I have ever fitted to a vehicle - period. The dealer who fitted these tyres, being Best Drive in Wanneroo, WA did a superb job with fitment, balancing and wheel alignment so in effect, it was a one-stop-shop. Since fitment, I have driven in extremely hot conditions, and in bucketing rain. I found these tyres had excellent grip in all conditions and were very exceptionally good in the wet. But regardless of the weather conditions, felt planted at all times which is very inspiring as one always feels confident in that the tyres will deliver under all conditions - including hard cornering and emergency braking. The added bonus is that they run very quiet. For me, safety is paramount. and with the added bonus of value-for-money means I will definitely fit these again.

Excellent tyres, high performance – As the previous review said, I just got these from mycar (ex. KTAS) the other day who is now owned by Continental. Price was very good if you buy from them as they're directly owned by the manufacturer. I suppose I shan't fully be able to review these until some time has passed but, wow! long time)

First, my only suspicion of a possible con is that the compound seems softer and may not be that hard wearing. But trust me, the benefit far outweighs this even if it comes to be true. In fact this might prevent dry rot issues or at least your tyres will be fully used by the time they start rotting. Sidewalls have a little bit more give in them which can be both bad/good but having pushed them into high speed corners, 100kmh+ they seem fine to me.

Now the pros, these tyres are very comfortable but not floaty or sloppy at all. They are just excellent at providing driver feedback and road feel, a joy to drive on. Mind you I only have these on the fronts, not even on all four corners. Wet weather performance is good and that's expected since the tread looks very capable to evacuate water.

Suspension performance is actually enhanced, it's not harsh anymore even though I run stiff aftermarket shocks on my car, and they inspire confidence. You just point the car where you want it to go and it just responds at any speed. Amazing that a tyre can do this (I guess I'm not an expert at judging quality tires having been loyal to a single manufacturer before - to me it's a revelation now).

The ones I got are made in China but that's not a detriment insofar as I can tell. (2919 DOT code so already a year old, maybe newer ones come out of Thailand)

Great tires – Had a good offer on these tires from mycar in March. Mycar is owned by Continental so bought them right from the direct importer. Tires are made in Thailand which means for me high quality. Good grip, not very noisy. My Camry is very happy with the tires. Show details

Excellent performance SUV Tyre, but intrusive noise levels and poor ride detract – After 6 months of research with not an iota of comment by professional testers on noise levels And ride, ( on these) I Consequently purchased a set. The OEM Bridgestone tyres were by comparison appalling in the wet and at best average in the dry. These Conti tyres are amazing in the wet, in comparison. In the dry they are ultra responsive and… Read more

confidence inspiring, as well. However they are particularly noisy on coarse chip surfaces, ( 90% of roads around here) and if I had known about this major compromise, I would gladly sourced another brand/type. Quite disappointed on this aspect. They also ride a lot harder and transmit much more NVH than the OEM Bridgstones, so Car magazine Tyre reviews around a wet/dry race track can be quite misleading in the real world on ride, NVH in general. Still love them but they are flawed in two important aspects.

Great grip with maximum contact – Recently purchased a set of Continental MC6 tyres for our sedan, tyres are magnificent in the wet and dry. The tyres handle the corners and roundabouts very well. Braking in both wet and dry are seamless and have so far have been very reliable in Melbourne traffic. On highways and freeways, there are hardly any noise generating from the tyres, try to keep the tyre pressure circa 3-4 kpa above the recommended pressure.

Premium tyre at a budget price – I bought a set of 4 x 215/60 x 16 Continental UltraContct UC6 tyres to replace the Goodyear Assurance Tyres that were on the car and after some 55,000 kilometers were no longer roadworthy. The first thing i noticed was that the new UC6 Tyres were much quieter than the Goodyear's they replaced. After 20,000 km, I find that the UC6's give excellent… Read more

wet weather grip and steering is very precise and wear is minimal. I have paid a lot more for major brand name tyres in the past, that do not measure up to the performance of the UC6's. Would I buy them again? Yes.
