I purchased a Bridge Shelf Set for $80 and was extremely disappointed with both the product quality and the company’s response. using this for a pet, as the smell overpowered an entire garage.
Customer service was rigid, dismissive, and unwilling to resolve the issue or compile with Australian Consumer Law ‘when a product isn’t of acceptable quality or fit for purpose’.
Despite providing photos and clearly explaining my concerns, the company refused to accept any responsibility - Even after the company’s representative, [Name Removed] acknowledged that the product is known to have a noticeable smell, she insisted on treating this as a change-of-mind return and required me to absorb all return shipping and costs.
Based on this experience, I would not recommend purchasing from this company and would strongly caution others to think carefully before ordering.
Please also note - Coops & Cages trades under Somerzby Pty Ltd, the same company that operates somerzby.com.au. This experience therefore reflects on the same business operating under multiple brand names.
Delivery was the worst experience i have ever had. He was rude, and rough. Dropped the boxes three times, I'm not looking forward to opening it all. stood in my hallway making me feel really intimidated I stayed at the door and said you can go now and he finally walked towards me abd I signed the ipad. I have cameras in my house and front yard. I reported this to coops and cages, and I asked for a call back by a manager. The lady said she would pass on. No phone call so far. Really awful experience
