Brand Manager for Costco? Claim your listing.
3 Justine A.  · Bought 2 trays of Ambrosia apples assuming new season and crunchy - cost nearly aud 10.00 a tray. Very disappointing - apples woody and flowery and tasteless.
1 Rose L.  · Bad customer service – Wrong info. given, bad customer service, very rude customer service manager
3 Durrell S.  · Pricey products and large volume – Good for family shopping but not necessarily cheap. I suggest visit them during weekdays to avoid the crowds
1 Anima  · Online purchase experience – Absolutely unacceptable service. Still struggling to get my order delivered.
1 fred  · ripoff – their prices are too high. not cost effective at all. they're just fooling people by their big packaging. not good at all, waste of money.

I recently visited the Lidcombe Costco looking for flushable wipes that were on sale, but unfortunately, they were out of stock on the shelves. When I asked another staff member, they mentioned there might be stock somewhere but weren’t sure where. While continuing to search, I met "Joy",who went above and beyond to help us. She kindly took the… Read more

time to check for the item, and even more impressively, she came to find us later while we were shopping to let us know that the stock would be available in about 30 minutes.

It might seem like a small thing, but her attentiveness, kindness, and willingness to follow through truly made a big impression on us. It’s rare to see that level of genuine customer care.

Thank you, "Joy", for your outstanding service. You made our shopping experience memorable!

When buying Costco fuel, it makes a purchase authorized amount $80 on your credit card that is greater than the actual amount $72 of fuel filled up. To me this is confusing and not sure if anyone else finds the same. I told the shop assistant and told that the overcharged amount would eventually be refunded otherwise contact customer service if it… Read more

doesn’t happen. I find this a strange way to buy fuel. They make you pre-select the dollar amount you want to buy but how would people know how much a full tank of fuel would cost, unless they want to only fill up a certain amount. I understand it’s a way to operate a self service but im finding it really bizzare and inconvenient as i need to check if the overpaid amount is being credited.

Bought 4 Lobster Tails last month, and they had virtually gone off. When I opened it, it was all slimy green and black, and it was soft when you put your finger into it. When I rang back immediately, they said someone would call you,but no one did. I returned it for a refund 3 days later. Show details

You Can't Go Past Costco Auburn for acquiring high quality hearing aids at affordable prices! – Top marks to Costco Auburn hearing aids department. The audiology testing was the most thorough I had received in recent years when compared to other suppliers. The audiologist also recommended that I see a ENT specialist to check out a problem that had been revealed by the test, which I did as it proved excellent advice in the circumstances. I… Read more

then decided to order from Costco top quality hearing aids manufactured by a EU supplier at a price point thousands of dollars below that recommended by other audiologists. The follow-up customer service by the COSTCO team was first class and exceeded my expectations. The $65 joining fee proved highly advantageous; annual renewal by me is a no brainer given the benefit of complimentary service visits as may be required. COSTCO benefits from 'word of mouth' advertising. I mentioned this service level to a friend who also approached the company for hearing aids and he too is a highly satisfied customer!

Not to be compared with the major supermarkets – It took me a good 10 years to decide if I want to join Costco, now I have been a member for over 2 years. While Costco do have its own fresh produce, bakery and deli section with fresh meats and everything a supermarket would offer, it is not an ordinary supermarket. You can find a lot of things you will not find outside the doors of a Costco… Read more

Warehouse. They have clothing and book section, they also have furniture, bed linen, rugs, electronics, even jewellery. But they do tend to surprise you sometimes with things you simply don't expect to find in Australia. Almost everything you can find from Costco comes in bulk. Giant sized bags of flour, enormous boxes of breakfast cereal, industrial size bags of shredded cheese, 1.5kg Nutella, and toilet paper bulk pack large enough to use as a side table. I could go on, but you get my point.

As I have mentioned before, Costco has its own "supermarket" like sections that offers fresh food, but the range is limited and not necessarily cheaper than your Coles and Woolies. But we don't go to Costco expecting it to be like Coles and Woolies, it's more of a supplementary shop of sorts. We buy the bulk sized meat for weekly meal prep for 2, the large bags of frozen berries for breakfast smoothies/oats, 1kg bag of edamame as healthy snacks. The bulk sized cheap olive oils is good as a hobbyist soap maker. The Casula and Marsden Park warehouses have a petrol station where you can fill up with 98 for better price than anywhere else with the location of the petrol stations as the only con. If you find enough things you need, $60 per year would easily pay for itself.

They are, after all, a warehouse, and they constantly rotate stock on the floors, so things you want might not always be in stock (or it's wrapped up on the higher shelves).

Oh, and not to mention you can go to any Costco store around the world with your Costco membership. It was interesting to go visit warehouses in other countries early last year - one more thing to look forward to after the pandemic.

So all in all, even with just the 2 of us, my partner and I find Costco membership to be worth it. With some minor inconveniences

Great on quantity, meh on variety – I wanted to buy the Vornado 660 in Costco through my friend who was a member. But we live far apart and I didn't want to make her travel so I ended up getting a membership myself. I thought why not have a look. Like most people say, almost everything is sold in bulk quantities...I live in a shared house some distance away with my bf and I have… Read more

no car, so I almost have no business here. But there were still items I wanted to look out for. I saw big tubs of Nuttelex Original but not Buttery. I saw Australia's Own Organic Soy Milk sold in huge quantities, but it was the only brand of soy milk that they have. I didn't find Bonsoy soy milk which is the only thing I'm willing to save through buying in bulk. They have a lot of things but not many brands to choose from for one particular item.

I think that Costco is probably worth it for large families, who have a car, and who have space in their house to spare. And it's also good enough for people who don't care too much for different brands and variety. Unfortunately they didn't carry the items I would be interested in other than the Vornado 660.

Needless to say I asked for a cancellation and refund of membership on the same day. And why did I give it four stars? Because they honoured their membership satisfaction guarantee and the membership application/cancellation process was quick and smooth. They also made it clear that all warranties on electronics/white goods are void if I choose to terminate my membership so I don't get nasty surprises later on, fyi. In that short period of 1 hour of membership I got my Vornado 660 $30 cheaper than the cheapest elsewhere, that's satisfying enough for me.

Cheesecake – The cheesecake from the cheesecake factory was bought frozen and defrosted 3 nights later overnight in the fridge to have at a barbecue. I didn’t realise the slices were precut & there was paper separating them- what a great surprise. No need to find something to cut or serve it- just pass it out and yum, much better than expected. Very creamy and the portions were very generous. Show details

NEVER buy Costco mud crab – We purchased a 3-pack of mud crabs from Costco’s seafood section for a family meal, but it was a complete disaster. There was literally nothing to eat—not a single bit of meat, not even in the claws! It was shocking and unacceptable from Costco, given their usual quality standards. This was a total waste of money, and we had to throw everything out. I will never buy mud crabs from Costco again.

Service was terrible – The service was terrible. I bought a computer from Costco and returned it next week. Because of 90 days to return, it should be no problem to return. But it took nearly two hours to complete the return. Most of the time was waiting for inspection from computer sale men.you could not find anyone in the computer section, even microphones could not locate the sales team of computer section. Show details

Costco hot pizza outlet crap service – You pay for your pizza and we waited more than 45 minutes before it was ready, they gave you a receipt with a number on it. No one called your number out, people had to bang on the window to get the staffs attention and they didn't give a stuff. There was no direction, instruction or guidance from any supervisor. Truly a disgraceful place to go for hot take away food. Please avoid it

You're kidding right ? – COSTCO Australia reports record profits for 2023 and then ups it's business membership by over 15% - you're kidding right ? Sure a modest increase may be necessary to maintain growth but 15% ? Yet another example of corporate greed.
