No hot chooks past mid afternoon every day, weekends are worse. When you don’t feel like cooking on a Friday or Saturday night you Go for a chook or pizza. Chook ovens are closed down by 4pm! Nothing in deli cases either. What happened? Show details

Not noticeable savings particularly with fuel costs (our local is the same price for most food items and fuel). The vegan butter and fuel previously covered our membership costs when we lived 15 minutes away. With over 1.40 per litre fuel price today, increased costs of certain products and the hour drive…not worth our money or time. They asked… Read more

why i had also cancelled 6 years ago. In our case it was due to relocating interstate and there was no costco within 2hours at the time. They state you can cancel any reason at any time; though it appears as though they flag the accounts and may even apply some kind of penalty. As it is there is a two year minimum before we can rejoin regardless of whether we move closer. Dont treat people like criminals, fix your prices or if it is a huge concern do not offer a refund and skip the interrogation and membership limits. Being asked about the past cancellation in early 2020 was what got me, if there was a saving i would keep paying your membership or let it lapse; though with fuel prices higher than my local i would rather ask for a refund than drive an hour for the few items that save a dollar or two. If you have needed to cancel a few times like us, may be best to let the membership lapse if you have gotten your money worth for the year.

I observed an interaction between two staff members in which the shorter staff member, dressed in black, verbally abused the taller staff member. The taller staff member appeared to be attempting to have an open and constructive discussion, but the other staff member was dismissive and unwilling to engage. The behaviour displayed was upsetting to… Read more

Tasteless – Hot chicken was disgusting, no seasoning, no stuffing, watery and undercooked, tastes like was cooked in a microwave. Yuck. Cheap garbage to feed to your dog.

Purchased fish from Costco Gold Coast and was shocked by the foul smell upon opening—clearly spoiled despite being within the expiry date and properly stored. This isn’t just poor quality, it’s a serious food safety concern. When I requested a refund on behalf of my friend—who is recovering from hip surgery—the manager refused unless he came in… Read more

personally. This is not just poor service, it’s a complete disregard for accessibility and compassion. Shame on Costco for making recovery harder than it needs to be.

Have been trying to buy XL golf gloves for 3 months. If their waiting for the SML size to sell out, they are going to miss $$$ in sales. Clear the small sizes so you can get a new pallet in. Other than this, I like the store. Show details

Follow-up  · Been to Costco twice since review, they got some medium size golf gloves in but still no large or X/large which are the most popular sizes. I was looking for X/large.

in this heat alone just to go shopping. They expect me to purchase another $60 membership 1 really isn't worth it let alone 2!!! We're in the worst financial state ever and you've got retailers like cosco double dipping. I will never renew my membership ever. I'll take my business elsewhere! Cosco you ought to be ashamed!

Follow-up  · Maybe dont be greedy and allow a family to enter on one membership card i have a large family and can't even shop with them at your store. Im expected to leave them outside like dogs in the middle of summer. I have spend thousands at cosco. I will never return unless this changes your store is supposed to be a cheaper option for family's to shop instead you're all about making as much money as possible! Its disgusting.

Partly my own fault, my objective when I go into Costco is to get through the human crush asap, thats not their fault, the dude who created Costco came up with a great business model. On my recent visit, I was lured into placing a drone into my trolley, not that I was looking to buy a drone as my wife reminds me, but my interest was because the… Read more

price tag was $199. My fault, got to the checkout and in my desperation to avoid the human crush I didnt pay attention to the reciept or the amount I was charged. Upon my arrival at home, my wife asked me why I spent $2k at Costco. I looked at the receipt and saw that they had charged me $1500 for the drone. I called expecting to be told tough it was my fault, but I was assured that they would refund me for the cost of the drone and acknowledged the placing of the $199 ticket could have caused confusion. I said that I had opened the box, they said that was ok and for me to bring it in. I did, and to their credit they refunded me the $1500. Thank you Costco for doing the right thing and as my wife has reminded me Im not allowed to go to Costco without her.

As a first time online Costco customer, I am very disappointed. I ordered an LG 65" oled TV from Costco on the 3/01/26 and the shipping date was suppose to be on the 8/01/26. I called Costco on the day and I was told that the TV hasn't left the warehouse yet. I asked for a tracking number and I was told that I will get one at a later date. I … Read more

got the tracking number finally and to no surprise, it doesn't work. Today I received a message that the TV will be delivered tomorrow between 9:00 and 12pm . This is not good enough, it's an other broken promise from another big American corporation .

Never buy anything on line from these people. Back in mid October we purchased a couch online. Finally we got onto them and they gave us a delivery date. We notified them that we were going to be… Read more

interstate, so we organised a different date, to which they were happy with. Then whilst in Sydney we get a text saying that it's out for delivery?. [Content Removed], then we confirmed with Costco about the different date. So we organised for it to come out on the 12th. You guessed it nothing arrived. We contacted the transport call centre in the afternoon on this date and they assured us that it was still coming on the 12th. Never arrived. No call, no text, no nothing. Contacted Costco and the transport company again, promised delivery tomorrow. Just got a call then from the transport cancelling tomorrows delivery because they don't have a truck. Trouble is we are now going overseas. No one will be home. Money back please Costco, this is dreadful service. After 30 years in transport and distribution I've never seen or experienced anything this atrocious. Avoid at all cost.

I'm not expecting any response as I see how difficult it is to leave feedback on the Costco website. fridge so they were kept icy cold from store to table. Once we attempted to eat them, there was one tray of oysters that were severely off. A couple of us ended up eating one each before we realised. The rest were definitely rotten and we had to throw them. The prawns were very big and we were looking forward to them as well. ALL the prawns were severely undercooked and raw in the middle. Overall, an expensive seafood meal was grossly disappointing. I would suggest they ensure large prawns are cooked longer than small ones and better quality control be used in the display and sale of the oyster trays. The seafood meal is something we always have on our annual trek to the Island and we have now decided it will not be on the menu in the future. Would love to hear a response, but expect I'll hear crickets.

I bought 4 pair of jeans today, but I could not try it on without paying for it first. After queueing up for nearly 30min, I paid for the jeans and tried them on. counter (another 25min!) for a refund as they don't do exhanges, and had to get the right size and queue up again at the general counter to pay for the jeans, another nearly 30 min! Seriously Costco, this is easy to remedy by creating a less than 10 or 5 items counter, or give you customer a card or something that would allow them through the general queue so they can have the exchange at the Members counter. You don't seem to care about customer service and how long we are spending in the queues!

Let me start on a positive note - I am a regular purchaser of discount petrol, well done Costco. Now to the bad - I visited Costco Bundamba just now to try to buy some dishwashing gloves. of them pointed me in different directions, neither correct. A third was able to direct me to latex examination gloves (not what I wanted but fairly close). In the end I wasted 25 mins trying to find something that maybe you didn't have, or at least your staff don't know about. Terrible experience. At least I could skip the extremely long and time wasting queues because I didn't buy a thing.

After so many issues with Costco in the past (including being out of pocket around $350 and losing over 10 hours of my time dealing with new hearing aids) I decided to cancel my membership. I called on the 14th of October and was told that my subscription would be refunded to my card. After not receiving the refund, I called again today (21st… Read more

October) and was told I can’t cancel or receive a refund because I’m not the primary cardholder.

I explained that the primary cardholder is my ex-husband, who now lives overseas. We originally opened the account while running our business, but we’re both retired now. I was the one actively using the membership and making the payments, yet they still refused to process the refund. I even suggested they keep his card open and simply close and refund mine, but they declined.

So, just a word of warning - despite Costco advertising “100% satisfaction guaranteed” and offering refunds on memberships, this may not apply in all cases. There’s no mention of this restriction for business memberships anywhere that I could find. I’m relieved to be done with it and won’t be purchasing anything from Costco again!

Disgraceful service from Vivian (ViVi) on her name tag, “Seon W” on the receipt. She called me “lazy” and barked that the barcodes of EVERY item must face up, even threatening to refuse service. When they first came in Costco's croissants were outstanding. If you bought one packet, you bought many more. They were excellent quality and became very popular very quickly. Sadly, the ingredients have been changed and they're no longer exceptional. Why spoil a perfect product for a few dollars more? Show details

Unfortunately, my experience with Costco eggs wasn't great. When I cracked the eggs open, I found that they contained embryos. This was concerning to me, as I expected store-bought eggs from a large retailer to be free of embryos. The taste of the eggs was normal, but finding an embryo inside was unpleasant.

Costco proudly state they offer wholesale prices to the public by charging a membership fee. Fuel prices are generally 14p -16p cheaper than regular forecourts, as they have staff costs and a shop to run. I paid $1.827 a litre at North Lakes today only to find my local BP station in Cooroy is selling diesel for $ 1.78 a litre What’s going on, another consumer con??
