Frustrated – I did like Cotton Traders Rugby Shirts, but there website is still up and you cannot order there clothing I am really disappointed. With the Covid-19 people have turned to the internet for clothing, which what Cotton Traders should be cashing in on BUT NO. They must have lost a lot of customers. If not operating shut the Australian website.

Was happy but not anymore – I like cotton traders but I’m not happy they haven’t been delivering to Australia for a whole year and have no plans to start any time soon. In addition the website is still up and running and all products available, you just can’t click purchase them. Very disappointing as I was a loyal customer previously. I’m not sure what delivery to Australia… Read more

has to do with covid. All other companies are turning to more mail and on-line services during these times. I also have a post box in uk anyway but still can’t order because of the way the website is set up, so they’ve made it impossible. I feel they’ve lost a lot of good customers

Extremely poor customer service – I've spent six months trying to resolve a simple customer service issue with Cotton Traders with no resolution. I don't think I will get a resolution at this point. I won't be buying from Cotton Traders again and encourage others to avoid this company.

Superb service and quality – I have bought a dozen pairs of trousers ranging from denims to chinos to smart, and two dozen polo shirts, 3 zip up jackets and the quality and service has been brilliant. I will continue to buy from them, especially as their prices are really excellent and fair. Their online catalog is easy to read and prices, styles and colors are clearly marked Well done Cotton Traders. Show details

Perfect fit, quality products – Over the years I have bought ten pairs of trousers, three pairs of shorts, a jacket and four pairs of shoes from Cottontraders. I love the trousers because I can get the exact fit without having to have them taken up as they have several trouser leg lengths available. Their trousers also have an elastic side band so if you put on a bit of weight… Read more

they will stretch. I can't believe the negative reviewers on here complaining about delivery times, their products come from the UK, and the longest time is usually customs and Australia Post delivery within Australia not the time taken to get here! I will continue to buy products from them in the future, haters will always hate!

Product good but poor service – I ordered a kimono on line and expected swift postage considering the delivery costs, but item took 5 days. The item was fine but was too long. Returned item, and won't get full refund as return postage. A week later still not given a credit on my card. Not using company again. Not sure why I couldn't get free delivery if I collected via Hermes either! Show details

Bad customer services – I ordered a jacket for my daughter on 20/11/2019 and there is no update on the status of the order or tracking details provided as they said. Emails and phone contacts sent without any response.

Dont buy from Cotton Traders – Sent order to wrong address, if fact no such address in Australia. Eventually my order arrived. I phoned the Company on UK to complain, numerous times, a waste of effort, as I received a lot of advertising material in mail, with the same wrong address. C Traders difficult to deal with. Dont buy from them, better T Shirt deals online Show details

Be Aware, Never Again – ordered an item, money changed hands and paid for the delivery 4th October, I waited and waited, nothing was confirmed for pack and delivery, I asked, via email Once Twice, Nothing, no care, no customer service - finally 9th Oct they reply picked and packed for delivery, so that's 7 days, since I see this coming from the UK I guess what 10 days,… Read more

But I think I will not hold my breath. If something is Online, you would expect a better attention to Service and Communication AND you cannot find en email contact, its hidden, they say Look under you Account, but guess what, nothing there, So they expect you to call them by Phone, AND there is a Cost involved here 7p per minute PLUS your phone company charge, so they make $ out of their poor Customer Service, no wonder they hide their e-mail contact Be Aware _ NEVER AGAIN

Excellent Products – I found Cotton Traders online whilst I was chasing some men's Chinos. I noticed a range they have called The Ultimate Chino, I was very happy with them and I continue to buy not only the Chinos but they stock a great range for everyone. Great quality and I love the great range of "Old School" Rugby jerseys they have, top products at a reasonable price. 5 Stars from me. :-) Show details

Don't waste your money – Cheap Vietnam sweatshop goods. Ill fitting, 30% cotton only, Even at the 50% promotion discount the Action Trousers Product code: AC14600 are still more expensive than similar goods here in Australia plus postage makes it a poor decision to deal with this UK company.. KMart in Australia have better prices and quality with easy returns. And don't… Read more

Slow courier company, AU website but I don't think they are Australian based hence very slow delivery times – It's been over a week since order was apparently shipped... nothing received and no update to consignment since order date. No package, no updates, nothing from Cotton Traders. Tracking information states "Sydney" but I suspect parcel is actually coming from UK. Sydney Metro to Canberra Metro never takes this long. Tracking information from… Read more

transport company "wnDirect" (unknown courier here in Australia, but is again UK based) hasn't been updated since order was apparently shipped middle of last week from Cotton Traders.

It's either a very slow courier company... or more likely an international delivery. When I ordered I thought having an AU website means that it's a locally based Australian business with local Australian stock... and I no longer think that's the case.

They are allowed to have the .com.au domain due to owning the AU trademark "Cotton Traders", but I suspect that's the only thing 'local' about this company.

Plus you better be 100% sure your sizing is perfect, because returns don't seem to be local- it's to the UK.

Website does quote "local returns" and "fast shipping" in big bold writing, but addresses quoted on the site say UK.

I will update this review when items are finally received. I hope all the items are the correct size!

If I wanted to buy from the UK and wait for international delivery (and the absurd cost of international returns on anything wrong with the clothing bought), I would have gone to a UK website.

I'll know for next time that's for sure! Buyer beware, it's my opinion that this is a UK based retailer even though it has a ".com.au" website.

I feel tricked because I was given the impression this was a local branch of a known UK retailer due to the com.au domain name. It was not made clear that the items would be shipped from overseas, or that they would have to be shipped to the UK if something was wrong (which can happen when ordering clothes online!)

** Update: 27/07/19 **

Well what do you know, I needed to return an item due to incorrect size. Shipped back on 13th July... apparently received by them 17th July (tracking). It's now 27th July and still no refund.

1 star review still stands... if you're an Australian customer my opinion is there are much better/quicker options for you out there. Buying clothing from overseas is obviously avoided by most people for this reason. If I knew delivery and returns were via UK I never would have purchased.

Don't waste your time – A friend of mine and his wife are getting on in years and not connected to the internet so I order things for them. Recently they saw a Crinkle Blouse advertised by Cotton Traders in the Sunday Telegraph and asked me to order one for them. The Cotton Traders website was a real obstacle course. Trying to use the number for this item produced links… Read more

which didn't work, and their website search function could not find it. I wasted literally a couple of hours trying in vain to find and order this item. I was so annoyed at this waste of my valuable time that I wrote to Cotton Traders in the UK, complete with printouts of what was on the screen. I just got a useless offhanded reply from them which ignored everything I wrote: "Thank you for your letter dated 13th March 2019. All our product codes have 5 digits after the first 2 letters as above. We do apologise for any confusion caused.". .". That is what I was trying to find on their website. Don't waste your time with this casual company to whom the customer is always WRONG.

Aussie buyers beware – Recently bought a pair of trousers online, finally arrived and think the quality questionable for the price. Also sizing wrong, then find that to exchange them for a correct fit, I have to pay the freight from Australia back to the UK. Not going to bother with a 40k drive into town to the P.O. to find out that cost.
