No communication after signing for installation to go ahead on October 8, Nick assured us that installation would be done early in November but did not communicate to us that there were any delays till November 20 we were told they could not get the batteries but they should be able to start the install soon but we are now told they still cannot… Read more

get the batteries and we have to pay more money as the job will not go ahead till next year. I still can’t get hold of Nick on the phone or Kellie in. the office and no messages can be left on either number. I would not recommend this company due to poor communication and no service

We had Nick and the team install stand-alone Solar to our rural shed at Ballandean. The whole experience was 10 out of 10. The installers arrived on time and installed in the day. You're better off hitting your big toe with a hammer, you'll experience less pain – I have recently had solar installed in my home (Early October 2024). As the house was new the electrical wiring was pre-installed so the installation for the Countryside Solar was very straight forward and easy. reported this issue on multiple occasions with very little response, given the system was sold with a system health monitoring package I shouldn't have had to report it at all, they should have been able to tell me. After threatening to report them to the relevant regulator I got some action with the installer coming back to sort out the issue. I had to explain and show the problem to him even though it had already been communicated to their "technical expert". The issue turned out to be a configuration problem which could have been remedied remotely after my first telephone call. The system has been performing well since that time and had exported a considerable quantity of FREE power to the grid as they did not submit the installation notification to the power company. At this stage there is not much I can do until they condescend to answer my calls as the paper-work has to come from them. I paid a premium price to this company as the offered a good warranty on their workmanship, bragged about their after sales service and offered a system health monitoring service. I have yet to see any evidence of this service actually existing.

My advice to any prospective client of Countryside Solar is to look elsewhere for a provider. While the sell a good product, their after sales service appears to be not worth the paper it is written on. If you're tempted to go with them, go and hit your big toe with a hammer to get a feel of the pain you will experience if something goes wrong.

Fantastic experience, I'd recommend Countryside to anyone – We initially wanted to replace an old 1.5kw system on our recently purchased house with a new 6.6kw. Got an initial quote, and then Nick came out to inspect and show us our options. We ended up going with a 10kw system at a similar price, with an 8kw Sungrow inverter (not hybrid). We did have to wait a few days for Sungrow to generate a login for our inverter, but Nick took care of that as well. Just to note: I did have to contact Countryside for an installation date, which turned out to have been booked in 2 days later but no-one had told me, so I'm glad I called.

Absolutely awesome – Highly recommend Countryside Solar, we had been researching Off Grid Solar and came across these guys and we are so happy with our Offgrid Solar setup,we are on 20 acres and was using generators everyday ,Now we get to listen to the peace and serenity..Thank you Countryside Solar..One last thing they also have finance available which was fantastic..

Refused to rectify installation defect – After spending $41,600 with Countryside Solar they refused to complete rectify defects which prevented the system from being operational. 8 months later I got a different solar company to fix the defects and get the system up and running.
