Owen and his team have been doing this for years and they really know their game. Great to advise on what’s suited to your vehicle and they always give accurate quotes and get the job done when they say they will! They warranty their work and stand behind their service. But I never have any problems or issues anyways with any car I’ve taken there. Highly recommended. Great accurate price quote and always completed perfect the first time. Highly recommended
After buying my wife a new car a year ago that came with Apple CarPlay, I was seriously underwhelmed with the 8 yo entertainment system in my F20 BMW 125i (which in all other ways, I still love as a car!). So at the recommendation of my son, I contacted Owen at Cronulla Car Sound who advised that there were 2 options, one using the existing (& now very inadequate!) screen or, replacing the existing screen with a bigger, touch-screen unit, that included Apple CarPlay. I chose the 2nd option & to say that I was thrilled with the result is a massive understatement! The new screen has about 3 times the screen real estate of the old one, & seamlessly integrates with the existing controls. I couldn't be happier with the outcome! Owen assisted me to pair my existing phone with the new system, explained how it all worked, & how to access the existing OEM GUI firmware in order to use the existing functionality (such as the analog & digital radio). I couldn't more strongly recommend Owen @ Cronulla Car Sound. He's a thoroughly reputable practitioner whose been doing this for > 30 years, so it's fair to say what he doesn't know about upgrading car sound systems isn't worth knowing!! I couldn't recommend him more highly - don't bother going anywhere else!!
Im a long term customer who wont shop elsewhere – I don't know about these other reviews, I have dealt with Cronulla Car Sound for over 15 years. Owen is all about quality and gives his best for me every time I walk in the door. I would not go anywhere else and am always swapping out the standard car sound systems for whatever he tells me to put in. I am never disappointed.
Do not use this guy – Do not use this guy. He priced us on installation and when he did the installation he only put some of the speakers in we supplied, no phone call nothing to tell us about it. When we pick it up we needed to pay extra for bits and pieces that we had already supplied to him. When we noticed he didn’t use all the speakers we gave him he had excuses and didn’t want to take responsibility for his shifty work. Do not use this guy it seems like he doesn’t give you what he first agreed on and then makes you pay for extra stuff. He shouldn’t be in business not to mention his rude.
Misrepresenting their products and service – Cronulla car sound in Kirrwee, told me that they will install a car Audio system which included GPS, Bluetooth, DVD and CD, yet I only got a car audio system that had just a radio, and a 7 inch screen so I need my phone use my phone GPS and data. when I complained, they told me that they can install another system including all of the above features, but the screen will only be 5.5 inch, and I agreed. after installation, they demanded additional $700.00 which they never told me about, so please don't trust them, and don't deal with them.
