We left the evening feeling incredibly disappointed after what was meant to be a special night out—and in fact, a birthday surprise for my wife. Between the suit and dinner, we spent close to $1500, expecting a high-quality experience to match the price. Unfortunately, that couldn’t be further from what we received. My wife ordered oysters as a… Read more
starter, and not long after, she became unwell with what was clearly food poisoning. This completely ruined the night and turned what should have been a thoughtful celebration into a stressful and upsetting experience. While we have received two follow-up emails apologising, the resolution offered—a glass of champagne and some canapés—feels completely inadequate given the circumstances. After an experience that left my wife sick and spoiled her birthday, you would expect at the very least a refund for the overpriced meal that caused the issue. Overall, this was an extremely disappointing experience, and it’s hard to justify returning or recommending a place that handles a situation like this so poorly.
1 night stay for our 10th Wedding Anniversary. I usually despise staying anywhere for 1 night because it’s not enough time to fully relax from the hustle and bustle of work. Getting in and out of the Towers especially during the week days is very smooth and fast. Plenty of stuff to accommodate no waiting around. Pool area is consistently very good, again with plenty of staff, good cocktails, pool temperature and places to laze around. Show details
We were given by our children a nights stay at Crown Towers to celebrate our 34th wedding anniversay & my 60th birthday. The staff in charge of the room went out of there way to decorate our room with clever towel designs & rose petals on our bed… Read more
to celebrate our occasion including a small cake with the words congratulations on it. We were free of charge upgraded to a Premium king instead of the deluxe king. Where we received a great view of the Swan river and the city of Perth. The bed was so comfy and the room was excellent. Thankyou to all the staff who made our stay a very pleasurable one, including our children for this lovely gift.
Follow-up · The check in process was quick and easy and very pleasurable. The hotel amenities were perfect for our needs and the dining experience was really good. Lots to choose from we went to the atrium which starts at $89 a head and there was a large range of food to choose from. The staff serving the tables, seem to forget we ordered water quite a bit and had to reask, but overall very good.
So me and my wife went to a 40th tonight at Crown Towers. I only had 1 drink and my wife can’t drink as she is not well. I’m 55 and not a big guy. Anyway we parked underneath car park. Where we came out the parking machine was out of order. I rang the help button twice to speak to someone to find out where the closest machine was so we could pay.… Read more
Nobody answered. We had a look around and couldn’t find one. So we jumped in our car and said we should see one on the way out. As we got near the exit we saw a sign that says “last chance to pay.” As it was a Saturday night there was no parking nearby. But there was a bay type space behind the machine so I told my wife to park and reverse there so we could pay. A security car was behind us and started to think he’s horn at us. As we had nowhere to go I got out approach the car. A security guard got out and first thing he said to me was. “ if you come at me again I will KNOCK YOU OUT!!! Yes instead of helping or understanding what was happening he came at me threatening with violence. This totally unacceptable behaviour by any employee. We go to Crown often and we have spent a lot of money in this place to be treated like this is unacceptable.
Overpriced tat, food overpriced slop with no flavour. Room for over 550 dollars has to be something special, it's as basic as they come... Casino is a total scam machines are completely cooked... You won't win, don't try... Show details
The things that make you go hmmm – Staff did not put room cancellation into computer. Funds were removed from credit card and desk staff were very uncooperative . But due to the cancellation been sent to phone I was able to prove I had made the cancellation several weeks before the date. Show details
Not happy – Disappointed with this place, visit around once every 6 weeks, on both last two occasions have been questioned by patrons on "how I am" literally have only been there for 3 hours, quite intimidating and creepy that they know your name, I get you have a duty of care to check in on people, but the oldies literally catch a bus there to spend the day,… Read more
myself and friend I visit with has also been questioned on both occasions, I get it, if someone has spent several hours and not left there seat, or are stumbling around drunk, but I kind of find it invasion of privacy and put a negative feel to rest of my visit, I bet they don't question there high rollers.
Horrible, overpriced, huge disappointment – If I could give it No Stars I would. Worst customer service I have ever encountered. Dirtiest rooms, overpriced at every turn. Will never set foot in that horrible place ever again. They should be ashamed of themselves but they are not because nobody cares one little bit!! Show details
Crown Towers Perth – On a recent trip to Perth to visit family, we opted to stay at Crown Towers. It was a great experience and everything was brand new and very clean. Only feedback was they appeared a little understaffed as checking in and recalling the car took a little long. Great overall, and will return again. Sarah. Show details
Crown Towers Sydney is horrible – Horrible place to stay in. (Crown Towers Sydney). I'm actually here at the hotel right now as I'm writing this. Nightmare of a place. We checked in and as we arrive there is a rubbish bin full of rubbish on the desk, milk stain on the floor in front of the fridge and floors not even vacuumed. Informed the reception face to face and 24 hours later… Read more

cocktails and dinner.Thank you so much. I hope Praveen gets acknowledgement from Management for his impeccable Customer Service.
Great stay – Very much enjoyed our stay. Early checkin was fabulous and allowed us to fully enjoy a weekend. Food and beverage choices were fantastic. Recommend this as a weekend get away.
Charged for mini bar – We have stayed approx 6 times in total but on two occasions we have stayed at Crown Towers, we have had deductions made from the $500 room bond. These have been deducted for items from the mini bar when we have actually not used anything from the mini bar at all. First time we were charged for $6 for a bottle of water. Then last week we stayed… Read more
on 16th October and found today to have been deducted $16 from the room bond for a 250ml orange juice. I am not sure if the room staff are thirsty during working but we certainly did not touch anything in the mini fridge let alone orange juice which equates to $64 a litre. Upon phoning and speaking to a front desk manager, they apologised and was told they would refund the $16 and look further into the matter with room staff. How many people are unknowingly being charged for items and not being so observant when these deductions are made. Totally shocked. Did not even offer a complimentary free drink or anything as a sign of genuine sincerity. Probably get loads of similar calls and I just felt that they couldn't care a less only that they were caught out again..........

Surprises come in different ways – My booking on Hotelopia booking website was to stay one night on 19 October 2018 and to leave 20 October 2018. I stayed overnight in a King Suite. I telephoned the hotel before leaving home to make sure I was properly prepared, I said I wasn't a frequent Hotel-stayer, and that I was just coming to see a show and stay over, so it would be a… Read more
special thing for me to be doing, I explained that being on a low income, I had booked and paid for the room many months in advance.
The lady I spoke to on the phone at that time, could have said that a deposit would also be required to be paid by me when I was to check-in at the hotel, as a 'bond' for the room, that I needed to bring $200 cash or a credit card with $200 on it; she didn't though.
The staff that finally checked me in to my room, didn't discuss the breakfast supposed to be included in the say overnight fee, so I asked at the front desk and was told breakfast was included in the price. That person didn't bother to tell me what time breakfast was served.
Anyway, filling in what happened, I got there with $130 cash to spend (for me for that night) the staff that received me at front-desk would not check me into my room (a King suite paid for in advance,) I was passed around like 'pass-the-parcel' through various front-desk staff - that all apparently couldn't check me in without me paying the $200 room deposit that I had not been told about, that they did not mention in either of the two telephone calls I had made to them beforehand. They didn't, in fact, tell me about the extra money needed until I was trying to check in. They didn't tell me I needed extra money until I had to pay the money, at the desk in front of all the other hotel guests that were being checked-in, while I wasn't.
While I waited I met another gentleman, a guest that checked in that morning, he said they had also done the same thing to him, surprised him with the additional $200 charge.
I wasn't able to pay the additional fee they were asking me for, I only took spending money for the night and I had left my credit card at home; that is why I had telephoned to check everything with them, once the day before and again an hour before leaving home, I wanted to make sure I had what I would need, all to no avail, as I didn't have information that a deposit was to be demanded at check-in for the room.
Despite all I did I was delayed at check-in and waited and waited while they didn't check me in for a full half an hour, a manager came and agreed to take $50 out of my Eftpos card for their room-bond or deposit. I didn't want to pay it but they had me over a barrel as the show was opening up and I wanted to get ready and paint my nails. They made me pay it. I didn't like that, it was far from nice.
I was equally surprised that I missed my breakfast too, it went like this; me on the phone at 9.45 am the morning after the show, where no one looked at a booking note that I put when I booked and paid many months earlier. I left a note 'late check-out required, going to the show'; anyway person on the phone says about breakfast 'oh sorry, you have missed breakfast'.
She said 'I' missed it...I say they didn't get me the information I needed to get breakfast I had already paid for; anyway, they didn't tell me at check-in and didn't tell me when I asked at the desk about whether breakfast is included?
So I rang up just now to see the hours for Crown Towers breakfast venue 'Epicurean', it made me realise that I could have got my breakfast after all, if I had just gone downstairs and gotten it, the person on the morning telephone call that I spoke to said breakfast was over at 9.45 am when I had rang up to check but the lady I rang at Crown Towers says they are open till 10.30am...which is news to me..of course, but I am not surprised to have been told a lie about the breakfast time or the fact that breakfast was still being served when I called, the impression was that they were reluctant to have me stay there overall.
The 'lie' about missing breakfast was accompanied by the 'sorry' that wasn't at all.
The spectacular view from the room, which was very lovely, stood in stark contrast to some views in the room, the bath was to die for, I had two while I was there. The room was not cleaned properly, there were lolly wrappers under the bed and some kind of residue remained on the upholstered leather-look headboard of the King bed. I found all the consumables, like soap, toilet-paper etc all very low grade and that surprised me too. I felt worried sleeping on their bedding and was lamenting that I didn't bring my own to put on the top, as I have done before,
Everyone will be happy to know, that although none of the staff I encountered were nice on my visit to Crown Towers, this kind of instance is an exception in Perth which is widely accepted to be a nice place where services are generally nice and all very friendly.
