We love our Prince – We picked up our Crusader Prince in July 2018 & have been away on a number of trips in her including to Carnarvon Gorge, Victor Harbour, Geelong, Tanunda, The Bend motorsport park, Robinvale, Echuca, Normanville to name a few. We’ve had a few vans over the years so when we were looking for our next van we did a lot of walking in, out & around all… Read more

different layouts, sizes & brands of vans before we made the choice to get our Prince, we love her layout & design & had a few extras put into her during the build for what we wanted. For a large van it tows very well in all weather conditions & is easy to set up. Right after the initial purchase we had a couple of faults with the 240V power in that for our maiden shake down trip down to Victor Harbour when we arrived & plugged the 240V into our Prince the power tripped out on the parks power pole, took our Prince back to our dealer & they found that a too longer screw had been used through a power point base. The second 240V fault was for the same reason but it was a power point on the wall for the TV in the bedroom however we were all the way over in Echuca for a week this time, luckily we were able to still use 12V for everything. These faults were both repaired by our dealer a long while ago & we’ve been away on a number of trips over the years since, we absolutely love our Prince & all her creature comforts & have no regrets & can recommend the Crusader brand of vans.

An Excellent Caravan Absolutely Love it – We picked up our brand-new Crusader Excalibur Serenity Caravan a few weeks ago and could not speak more highly of Crusader Caravans Melbourne. From the moment we signed the contract through to the exciting stage of selecting colors, décor, and finally taking delivery, Michael Valentino was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful every… Read more

step of the way.

Crusader Caravans accommodated all of our modifications and special requests without hesitation or negativity. The finished product not only met our expectations—it exceeded them. We’ve only managed one trip so far due to the restrictions here in Melbourne, but the caravan towed beautifully behind our Ford Ranger, feeling stable and safe at all times.

Crusader Caravans has truly delivered a high-quality, well-equipped caravan that we absolutely love and feel completely comfortable in. We would highly recommend Crusader Caravans to anyone considering purchasing a van—there’s a model in their extensive range to suit every need and budget.

UPDATE (4 years later): We’ve now owned our beautiful caravan for nearly four years, and it’s as solid and reliable as the day we picked it up. It has accompanied us on numerous shorter trips, an eight-month tour around Tasmania, and a journey from Melbourne to Cairns and back. The build quality and durability have been outstanding. We’ll be upgrading to a new Crusader next year—there’s no doubt we’ll be staying with the Crusader family.

water leaks – Loved our new van, then started to notice a bad odour from en suite area. After speaking to the maintenance people was assured they could get rid of the smell. They didn't and it got worse even after taking it back to service centre. Eventually could not stand it any longer and demanded they fix the problem. We found out that a lot of Dukes had… Read more

the same issue with water leaking through the unsealed join at the back. Crusader confirmed repairs were required but on getting the van back found the area of the leak had been sealed but the water remained under the flooring. Now water escapes between the floor and the cabinetry and the whole van stinks of rotting timber and mould. Really upset at the outcome and not at all confident the issue will be resolved. I don't think we can use the van now either as all the food cans and cartons have developed black mould on them after being in the van for a couple of weeks

Caravan parts – If you need spare part dont waste your time with crusader 12 times I call over 4 day no reply how can you keep your caravan looking good if you cant get spare parts . It like they dont want to help . It would be different if I wanted a new van

GREAT VAN BUT HAD A FEW PROBLEMS WITH FINISH – Love the layout and storage. Tows very well and had all the things we needed. Had an issue with the brakes not connecting to my car. One of the panels fell off the cupboard. The washing machine water leaked. The fridge panel on the door fell off when first opened. The sliding door was hard to slide. They just need to have some quality control before leaving the factory.

Love our Handsome Prince – Have only owned it for about 6 months. So happy with everything so far, design, quality and towing. Have done many short trips to get used to it and about to take it up north so that will be the big test. Pretty confident now with setting up as this is our first ever van and so far we have absolutely loved it.  Show details

Doubt you could buy better – We researched our new caravan for two years before deciding on Crusaider. Our Excalibur exceeded all expectations. The quality of finish is exceptional and use of space is really well though out. Cupboard doors are piano hinges, not little bits of bent tin. We couldn't be happier and it's nice knowing that Camerons in SA will back the product.

Crusader Excalibur X Country my good choice for a change – We purchased a CrusaderbX Country 20 ft 6" caravan direct from the manufacturer having just completed our first 8000 km trip over variable road conditions the control rider suspension handled every thing thrown at it with no complaint from me at all ,the van itself is a little on the heavy side at 3200 kg loaded but to be expected for a van of… Read more ·  1

this size overall I am pleased with my decision to buy this van i have not had a major complaint at all ,we did have a couple of minor issues that had to be handled by the manufacturer of the particular item ,the sales staff were good ,however make sure you list every thing you require and get a couple of copies with signatures I had no dramas but a common theme with all these manufactures is extras on extras at vastly inflated prices but not if you have it all in writing

I have bought 5 new vans over the years and this is the only one I have had no problems with ,all in all a good well constructed all road caravan with good dust sealing and good workmanship on the complete van.

Would I buy another Crusader probably let's see in a few years Good build quality, well balanced, tows really well, value for money

Poor quality finish on a good product – Briefly I had a bad experience with the second van I bought from this company 3 major problems on a first trip with it no hot water system wired wrong, 1 of 5 blinds worked, tracks put in upside down, washing machine leaked the waste water into the vanity cabinet, along with other smaller peoblems, very disappointed as my previous inspiration had… Read more
