Good so far, need to use it more – BBQ works reasonably well. I've ignored instructions regarding use of burners otherwise it struggles to get hot enough (above 250°) for roasting pork. Heat tends to escape through the holes built for the rotisserie. Assembly was reasonably easy although a few holes were not lined up properly. Not convinced about the heat tamer effectiveness yet as the heating of the grill is a little inconsistent. Planning to convert to town gas.  Show details

Great BBQ – Would have given this unit 5 stars but for the issues with the electronic ignition system. All in all this is a great BBQ, well made and sturdy, relatively easy to maintain and clean. Stainless grills can be a pain to clean but other than that I am very satisfied with my purchase. Great 240V rotisserie and back burner but one needs to get to… Read more

know it before achieving success.

General BBQ'ing is great and makes a perfect pizza with the stone and lid.

It is now just on 5 years old and still looks new even though it is usually used a couple of times a week year round but increases during the summer months.

Awesome – Had a substantial look around for a BBQ to use over xmas and new year with a family contingent arriving for overseas. Chose this stainless steel model based on reviews, resistance to rust and a great look for our new 'outdoor livingroom'. 2 months down the track we are very happy with our purchase. It has done everything to perfection so far and… Read more

we use it a lot for entertaining. We got it at Barbecues Galore at a 30% VIP discount, which makes it a very attractive buy. Would have paid full price. A 'bucket' of stainless steel cleaning stuff keeps it looking good. Highly recommended.

5 years and its still like new – Purchased professional series for my husband Five years ago. Still as good as new. Wonderful for large functions. Keep it covered. Food stays warm with the hood down. Great for Christmas spit roast. Flat plate is optional but worth the extra money. Buying new cover this Christmas. Lasted five years.

Great BBQ, summer is saved !!!! – We bought the Cucina 5 before Christmas after the previous BBQ (powder coat steel type from Myer) rusted to death in only 2 years :-( oddly enough that Drew us to the stainless steel BBQ. The stainless cucina looks stunning, cooks well, stainless grill easy to clean and the included rotisserie and infra red burner make roasts easy and excellent… Read more

every time.

5 burners ideal (we needed more than 4 but a 6 or 8 was a little daunting size-wise.

Did have a problem with the hot plate supplied warping but BBQ's galore replaced with no worries.

In short an excellent BBQ !!!! Stainless Steel, solid construction, 5 burners, infrared burner, rotisserie. Hot plate supplied a bit light and warped. Adding the range unit after purchase expensive

BBQ not as good as it looks – Bought the unit and built it. fabrication issues with the cabinet side unit meant that I had to go back to the store and replace the side panel with one that was fabricated properly (out of another BBQ box out the back of the store ona Sunday). Some of the holes for the screws used for assembly were too big for the crews supplied and they didn't… Read more

bight and had to be replaced with bigger screws from the hardware store. Found that not all of the electric flame starters work. Flame starter on the pizza heater at the back does not work and flame starters on two of the other burners in the main unit also don't work. Stainless steel hotplate form BBQ Galore buckles badly when hot - hopefully this settles down. BBQs galore people are friendly and helpful, and the BBQ looks good - but it cost $2000+ and shouldn't be having these issues and I'm expecting BBQ Galore to fix them.

poor workmanship and defects

Good – We priced a lot of different bbq's of full stainless steel construction, but could not get as much bbq for the money as we did at Barbecues Galore with this Cucina Professional Range. Highly recommend this unit. Timeless design and solid construction. We purchased the racks that hold the coals, from The BBQ Factory as Barbecues Galore did… Read more

not have them to fit this bbq. The coals give the meat a lovely smoked flavour as well as absorbing any fat that falls through. Makes cleaning even easier. Thoroughly recommend this range, but do your research and compare as we did. Purchased at Barbecues Galore 3 months ago for around $2000. Top of the range unit, full stainless steel construction, including all the burners, covers, grills and large teppanyaki hotplate, they are all stainless steel as well. Amazing bbq - my husband is very proud to own it and loves to show it off. We have the cucina professional 5 burner plus the extra trolley unit which has the huge teppanyaki stainless steel plate. Cooks beautifully, great design makes it easy to clean, being full stainless steel. Glides effortlessly on the castors, even though it is the size as shown in the picture. Not at all heavy to move around. As a bonus we got the enamelled hotplate, but stainless hotplates are available to purchase for around $100. My son and husband assembled it and it was relatively easy. Also has electronic ignition for all burners. Comes with utensil hooks on the side, very handy. Only thing missing is the glass or see through panel on the lid. My husband wanted this feature in the new bbq, but had to compromise as he has everything else that was on his wish list. But, honestly, that viewing panel would have made it perfect! One more thing, Barbecues Galore did not have the racks to fit this bbq that hold the hot coals. We found the perfect size racks and coals at The BBQ Factory and they work a treat. They were quite inexpensive too.
