Cuckoo rice cooker – It is the best rice cooker I have ever used. The brown rice cooking function really working, there is no half cooked brown rice for Asian. The after sale servers is amazing as well. Show details

CHSS1009FN -Dead internal battery 18 months old!! Great but not perfect – White man review who cooks a lot of rice. I upgraded from a tiger non induction which served me well for 9 years. This is a good unit for rice, it starts to get complicated if you want to do a recipe as the manual doesn't make sense. I was referred to the YouTube channel but most of the videos are either models which have steam functions and other… Read more

functions not relevant to this model.

August 2022: My internal cell battery has died after 18 months and I've called Cuckoo and they want $120 to replace the board as the battery isn't serviceable. Warranty is 12 months. I have seen this model now discounted, which I suspect will be due to the faulty battery design. Hardly fair under consumer law that an internal battery should died after 18 months? My tiger lasted 9 years.

So now my clock will reset if I turn it off, hardly a big issue but still annoying. Great unit for soft fluffy rice. I do use the Multi-cook and pressure cooking and do tend to use it for GABA rice. Wouldn't be paying more than $550 for one though. The 1 year warranty is not "leading". I use it 4-5 times a week so it does get a solid workout.

I'm okay with the menu but it is complex for my wife and she is educated with a degree.

Confirmed best rice! – Was on the fence about spending this much on a rice cooker but am glad I did. Rice was fluffy, moist and delicious and also looked shiny/ glossy. Highly recommend the cuckoo IH rice cooker. Show details

2019 Australia version IH rice cooker – I bought Cuckoo IH 10 Cup Pressure Cooker CRP-CHSS1009FN (Dark Grey) at Korean grocery store, KT Mart shop 1 this week. I've tried this cooker twice and tasted so much better. I've been eating rice almost every day hot and cold. Compared to high end non-pressure cookers, IH pressured cooker steamed rice looks much brighter and shiny. Each one… Read more

piece of rice has evenly moisturised, elastic and firm. This Cuckoo's steamed rice tastes the same as restaurants in Japan.

I bought this product because all Japanese rice cookers' supply 100 volt but Cuckoo is 240 volt and available in Australia. You won't be disappointed and paid for the quality.

Cuckoo IH 10 Cup Cooker is awesome – Just bought the Cuckoo IH 10 Cup. Fantastic machine. It’s super quiet (only venting steam at the end when it needs to depressurise), it cooks whole grains and glutinous rice perfect. Believe me it’s noise free!! It does talk a little when starting, ending and while making selections or to remind you if you haven’t locked the lid. I appreciate… Read more

that. I make gelatinous stocks in my Cuckoo within 1-2 hours max for what would take me 6-12 in a normal pot. Best thing is you just set and forget. The Cuckoo keeps your food warm after cooking. I’ve come back the next day and it is still perfect and the machine tells you how many hours it has been keeping it warm. I wouldn’t do that with meat meals but grains and vegetables alone is fine. It’s easy to recook grains by using multicook, add some extras like vegetable and seasoning and recook for 10 minutes. I couldn’t do without this machine now. Before I used to miss breakfasts and other meals as I leave for work so early and I work for 12 hour shifts which can be very exhausting but now I can cook it anytime and know that it’s ready whenever I am ready. Set and forget magic!! Love it.

The Fanciest, English, Chinese, Korean Speaking Rice Cooker ! – I just Bought mine from the Box Hill Central store last week. THE RICE COOKER SPEAKS ENGLISH @@ I love the design but also the quality. When you use them, you can feel that it is being made very nicely. I don't know how long it will last (coz I just bought them), but I've read the 5 star review from US review sites. Good thing about it is the… Read more

design, quality, technology (so many functions),, .. bad thing is that there are too many functions. I suppose that's why they have the voice guide.

Best Rice Cooker available out there – I have been using this rice cooker everyday for almost 6 months now and it cooks the perfect rice, glossy and tender. I've also tried cooking chicken congee and it was very easy to use with just a few touches, thanks to multi-cook functions functionality. Washing is very easy too. Highly recommended+  Show details
