Custom Wardrobe Company

Top effort and will definitely use them again – We just brought a house need a new wardrobe in our main bedroom. The other two bedrooms have build-ins and we wanted something similar. We contacted several companies but Custom Wardrobe was the only one that spend the time coming and measure it up. We emailed back and forth a couple of times and got the order finalised. We got it promised within 3 weeks but after a week we got a call and could pick a date for the install. Two guys came and installed the wardrobe in a day. They were very professional and treated our home with respect. My spouse and I are now sitting and looking at our new wardrobe and are very impressed. This is really top notch craftsmanship. We can feel the love and dedication there was put into making this wardrobe. This is done the same way that I would have done I myself - if I could. I can only recommend Greg and his team. We wasn't disappointed. Custom Wardrobe may be a bit more pricy but you certainly get what you pay for. Our new wardrobe fits our Queenslander beautifully and is made to last for a long long time.

The only concern I had was paying most of the price before the install. But meeting Greg - that wasn't really an issue. With the dedication and hard work put into our wardrobe it's all worth the gamble. Next time I will definitely use Greg and his team at Custom Wardrobe again.

Do not use custom wardrobes Brendale – Very bad experience. They fitted out my laundry but didnt complete the job then the dodgy plumbing they did flooded my laundry. I paid for quality bench top and splash back and fittings only to find it was all 2pac painted chipboard and certainly not water proof. It is now buckled, peeling, smelly etc. It was very expensive, they wanted all money paid before they completed the job I withheld $200.00 but they didnt come back. They were late each time, damaged my flooring, ceiling, dented my new sink and didnt or replace or fix any of it, they left one double door cupboard crooked and unfinished. Not happy and now Im left with a mess, they wont return my calls. It has so far cost me $850.00 to repair their dodgy work (including nailing an edging strip into a power lead inside wall) and I haven't even started replacing the cabinet, bench top or splash back. Dont use them!

I didnt get what I paid for.

Would not use them again and never recommend them to anyone – We are located in Brisbane. We decided to go with them since they display good quality of products even though they are not the cheapest. They asked for 50% deposit which we thought it was a bit too much, but we had to pay the agreed full price eventually anyway, they said they could do it before I went away for 3 weeks so we trusted them. We agreed to get our walk-in robe done on Fri morning but on Thu afternoon, I got a call telling me that they would not be able to start in the morning (and I wanted to get it done for my wife, before I went away for 3 weeks on Monday).

After a hard negotiation with them, my wife and I agreed to delay it for two weeks. After we agreed, they asked for a FULL PAYMENT prior completion of the wardrobes!!! Of course we declined and stuck to original agreement.

Two weeks on, they came and start installing when I wasnt there. The LED that was agreed to be installed was not the same type, lucky my wife spotted it, otherwise they would just do it. Therefore, the job could not be completed, in fact, they just left at midday, installed 3 rows of two drawers x 2 sides in the bottom and left the 2/3 of the top shelving for another day's job and said that the rest would take only 2 minutes.

They came back another week, supposedly bringing the right LED, to complete the job. I was already back from my 3 weeks work assignment. They told me in the morning they have the correct LED this time. After completing the other 2/3 of the robe, I was informed their warehouse had not received the LED that they ordered the previous week from Sydney. Again, the job was left uncompleted for another day......

Two days past, I received a call in the morning saying that their guy didnt want to come back since he was not confident enough to install the LED although two days ago, he said it very convincing and easy to do.

I really had enough and l asked them to give me the LED and I would do it myself even though he offered to help. In the end, Im happy with the cabling I did, it was done to they way I wanted.

Bottom line, even though in the end they delivered a good product, we did not have a good memory behind that product. Almost no communication from the owner as he didnt not have the initiative to call me to explain and apologise or to let me know well in advance what was happening, and very poor time management. Product Quality It became 3.5 week job for two small wardrobes
