warranty returns on this modem and in the end the company just stopped distributing it and sold the modems to staff at $2 each to get rid of the stock. Cheap, nice and compact Prone to faults

Terrible – I wish I had read the previous review some time ago as this modem was one big problem. sale of it to the public. Unfortunately I was always told that the problem was either in my computer, the phone line or anywhere else it could possibly be.

It wasn't until I later found out that my brother had signed with the same IP and received the same modem, only he trashed it after so many failures and bought a different one.

I did exactly the same after that, and found that all of the so-called problems that were my fault or other component faults mysteriously disappeared.

I wouldn't give this modem for free to my worse enemy - I don't hate anyone that much that I would put through the amount of frustration I had with it. ;-) It came free with an ISP 18 month ADSL contract. The amount of times it stopped working and had to be reset.
