D-Link TalkBox2800 with VoIP AC1600 DVA-2800
MPN: DVA-28004 reviews
Bad wifi quality – The normal network have max "quality" but intermittent disconnections all the time, as well as very slow connections (0.1-1 Mbps with a 40Mbps fibre connection) WHile the 5g has good connection speed (around 20-40 Mbps), the signal quality is very bad. My phone keeps disconnecting from the 5G wifi due to the poor quality. Whenever I change the default setup the whole internet is gone, and i had to hard-reset the modem.
Do Not Buy !!!!! – Wifi dropouts. Definitely not worth It for $300. Just plastic. Very lite on weight. I think most of the modem with VOIP has similar problems. If you really wanna try this modem do not pay $300, look for second hand for $50-70.
Junk. How they justify a $300 price tag for something that performs worse than a $50 router is a mystery – If I run ping tests direct to this router I get dropouts on multiple ethernet cabled connections and multiple machines. wifi dropouts are also bad. And yes, I have updated the firmware many times and done factory resets. Needless to say devices dropout internet access all the time independent of my ISP (Aussie Broadband are awesome). Like all my other experiences with anything Dlink written on it, horrible. The UI also is a joke with non nonsensical menu labels ignoring industry standard names. Just avoid. Go with the Aussie Broadband standard VDSL router or Ubiquiti instead and you will be happier.

Definitely not worth the money. Look elsewhere – This modem router is quite pathetic, my old iinet technicolor (no aerials) was much more powerful. It went through block walls and my sheet steel garage with the signal showing as maximum. This D-link DVA 2800 (3 aerials) either on 2.4 or 5G shows next to nothing on signal strength in the garage. It is so slow.
