Danmar Garage Doors

No warranty – Had a Danmar garage door fitted through our builder. Nothing but problems from day one. Had to go back to get fixed but after 3 years the wood has split and paint bubbled. They say that we were supposed to repaint after 2 years to maintain their warranty but you are supposed to know this yourself as they never told us at handover nor when we had it serviced by them. Anything to get out of fixing it under warranty

I left the technician quite a detailed list of concerns and things that I wanted him to have a look at, and he has done everything perfectly, plus some. He identified and replaced frayed cables, installed the new rollers and adjusted the door perfectly. This is the first time the door has performed properly since it was installed in 2010 and it now opens to the very top of it's travel without the cables becoming loose. He also took the time to explain what he had done to my wife and recommended more regular servicing which we will now undertake. My wife was very impressed and said that the technician was very polite and professional.

Poor Service – Received the keys to my new home Wednesday only to find the garage door would not operate. I have trades coming in and will require secure storage for such items as tiles, etc. Builder contacted Danmar on Thursday and by Friday not peep out of Danmar. Will keep posted.
