The door itself was exactly what we asked for but the packaging was a disaster. The glass was protected with a film but was painted over when the door was painted and the difficulty and mess it made when removed was terrible

Extremely east transaction, made the call, gave them the measurements and on the first business day Monday a wonderful guy came out called Theo and installed door and new lock. or hands wet the lever door can just be nudged with with elbow, so much easier, I now have a spare knob lock that will have to sell on Marketplace. But that is my only deal with Doors Plus. excellent service and now have a secure garage!

Follow-up · Still waiting for doors to be replaced. The workmanship was appalling and have had several inspections. Doors plus has offered me $400as compensation as wood for the doors are out of stock. Very disappointed and still do not have the doors i have paid $7000 for.

outstanding … not only did he install the door with minimum fuss, he really added an extra feature to the kitchen/ hallway by designing a feature to the architrave similar to the already existing architrave in the kitchen. A true craftsman! Thank you.
Follow-up · I have since also had a security door added to the front of the house which has both enhanced and added a new dimension to the entrance. I love the ‘new’ look Again .. excellent craftsmanship with an additional weather proofing added to the bottom of the door which allows for smoother.gliding. Follow-up · Basically the options were construction material, finish (painted or not), glass/no glass etc Installation took a couple of hours (old door removal, fitting of hardware (hinges and locks)) Door was trimmed, and shims used to fit the frame. Very neat job and clean up

Every situation I raised with Anneli she had a good option every time and provided advise on which was the best - I cannot fault her professionalism and her customer service- amazing. Anneli came out to the house to conduct a final measure and confirm all the products were appropriate. The last door was installed on 06 May which was a heavy-duty security door installed by Mile who was a gentleman and a thorough professional and left the area spotless. I’m extremely disappointed with the service we received from Doors Plus regarding the installation of our smart lock. From the outset, the experience was frustrating. To make matters worse, the smart lock was installed without anyone on site to show us how to use it, which completely defeats the purpose of investing in a “smart” system. We were left trying to figure it out ourselves, which was both frustrating and time-consuming.
When the installer contacted the sales representative, [Name Removed], for assistance, his response was rude and unhelpful. He stated that he had “finished for the day” and that we were interrupting his time with his family. This dismissive attitude, especially when we were simply trying to get support for a product we had just paid for, was completely unprofessional.
Overall, the constant rescheduling, lack of proper handover, poor communication, and unprofessional behaviour have left us very dissatisfied. Based on our experience, I would not recommend Doors Plus Balcatta.

Explained every bit of the process and very happy to address any questions or concerns we had. He was a perfectionist in the final installation of the doors, and explained how they locked etc and what to do and who to contact after if any problems. Theo our security screen door installer was extremely helpful and a perfectionist in his job. The screens have added additional security to the property for us. We are thrilled with the new look the replacement doors and security doors and screen doors have given to the property. We had a bit of delay as we wanted clear not frosted glass. The door fitter arrived and did a fabulous job fitting the door and cleaning up. Later the screen door was fitted and again the workmanship was excellent. We replaced the small door and sidelight with a full width door and screen. The customer service was terrible . In January I ordered the sliding doors and it took until June for the work to be completed. Do not use them if you are in a hurry !

Mick was very friendly and helpful. He first adjusted the laundry Guardian Door ( Oct 2025 install) where the glass insert had gone out of square and advised on my options if it slips again. He took time and care to fit the new front Guardian door (June 2026 install) and afterwards cleaned up the mess on the floor.
