I am so thrilled with the tint that I had installed on a large window in my hallway. It has blocked out the glare and sun and made a huge difference. The service provided by Happy Tint was so professional and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I am very grateful for the delicious jar of Honey I received for being a customer.

NOT SO HAPPY TINT
STAY AWAY!! Owner [Name Removed], bullying behaviour and poor communication skills, are unacceptable.
Happy Tint owner, [Name Removed], visited my home to assess some issues with the tint. The tint had clear bubbles, streaking and was peeling, but [Name Removed] insisted it was due to "dirty" windows, despite clear evidence to the contrary.
What made matters worse was that he refused to engage in a constructive conversation about which windows needed replacement. Instead, he began bullying me, insulting me & yelling at me in my own home before storming out.
The so-called "lifetime" warranty they advertise is nothing more than crap!.

Amazing Service
From start to finish, the service was exceptional. Quick response from Greta to arrange quote; Ric quoted within days and then Blake was here doing the work. Fabulous team and great service!!!

Brilliant work
No nonsense guys tell you how it is and sure enough it's true. Hard to find businesses that do this today. Ric is great and Martin the installer is excellent. Attention to detail and cleans up the mess. If you are considering tint for your home business or car these guys are worth the $. We had windows done in our house. Thanks Ric and team.

Eventually, some action.
My builder engaged Happy Tint to tint my balcony glass. As the photos show, initially beautiful, then the film progressively breaking down until it is now completely frosted. In short, it was the wrong film - internal instead of external film. Ric attended the site twice and agreed to remove the film and refund the cost, “in the next few weeks”. In spite of multiple calls it has now been 16 weeks and he is now not answering my calls or msgs. Happy Tint should DO THE RIGHT THING and stand by their product and workmanship - but they just don’t.
Update:- Happy Tint have now removed the tint film. No refund as promised, no replacement tint, but it does look much better.

Really happy with happy tint. The guys friendly and skilled, Im thrilled with the result, cant wait till next summer to feel the difference.

Extraordinary service
My wife and I just want to thank Ric, Greta and your team for completion of what turned out to be tricky window tinting contract on our new home.
Whilst the job had upstairs re-application needs, the "after sales" and warranty service was extraordinary and we are delighted to recommend Happy Tint to our friends who have the need.

Quality work
Had 2 cars tinted here and both have turned out great.
- First car I dropped off to them and they gave me a loan car for the time and the second time they came and picked up from work and had it back to be before I finished.
- Tint looked great on my BMW 1 Series and Range Rover Velar

Not Happy Tint!
I had my wife's 2019 Holden Equinox tinted with darkest legal tint in June 2021. Last month, she was selling the car and had to get a roadworthy certificate. To our surprise, the mechanic doing the roadworthy called us to say the car was not roadworthy because the tint was too dark! He told us that he has to submit photos to VicRoads with the light readings and they were outside the legal parameters. When I contacted Happy Tint, they directed me to the branch - Dandenong - and told me I should call them as they'd have the paperwork. I did this,
... Read more and found the paperwork we were given when the job was done. The paperwork clearly states "darkest legal". I asked the person I spoke with if the technicians confirm there is no existing tint in the windows before they affix the film - she said they do not. I asked if the technicians check for glass codes on the windows to indicate privacy glass (glass with a tint at manufacture) - she said they did not.I asked if they take a light reading after the tint film is fitted - she said they do not. I wonder if the technicians do not check any of these things, how can they be so sure the tint is legal. From the responses I received from the branch it does not appear that they do, nor that they care. The branch referred me back to head office, but to date (after three weeks) my emails have been ignored. So; not happy tint, not happy...
Tinting of doors & windows
We had Rick quote & have the jobs completed in 2021. We did however note that our door that was kept open frequently (as we had a pet dog) had a mottled effect. When we complained it did take some days for Ric to inspect it. He did explain that it was an interior film that was installed. This was then rectified for no charge as we the owners & Ric had not reviewed that the door was to be kept open. So we are happy customers now. I did not give a 5 rating as the response & rectification to our complaint was slow. I would recommend their workmanship & installation plus the benefits of keeping the sun & heat away.

Questions & Answers
Anyone who had used Happy tint service for paint and interior protection is satisfied or not satisfied after 1-2 years? It is very cheap but does it work?
I need to do a quotation for an office refurb in Bayswater. They would like to have the front windows frosted.
What would be a ball park figure, to supply and install frosting to 1 window (3 panels of 1200 w x 1800 h ) and 1 window 1500 w x 700 h. Regards, Menno Luneman 0409548770.
