installed. Picture shown is main living area/balcony windows done with a very clever arrangement of Magnetite perspex panels (including sliding panel). I also had bedrooms done with SoundBlock glass sliding windows. They did an excellent job and had to make adjustments on the fly during install. All team members were skilled, polite and conscientious. The living room windows shown were asymmetrical due to sloppy 80’s builds that were common and they just dealt with it without complaint. The results for noise deadening were better than I expected. The retro-fit, additional glazing system has a much bigger cavity than double-glazing and works MUCH better against low rumbly noise in my experience. Have had several Village residents come to inspect, walking away impressed with the install quality and noise results. The only down side was the long 3-month wait for the install team BUT that can also be viewed as a positive. They have so much demand for their work! Highly recommend Magnetite unreservedly.

A bit expensive but worth it – My house facing main road, this double glass setup help to reduce noise. It is not 100% but will easily feel the different with or without it. Installation of sound proofing to my apartment in Hurstville – My Hurstville apartment is close to the railway line. It can be very noisy, especially in times of track work. end result looks great. The new sliding doors and windows have given my 50 year old unit a fresh look. An added bonus, apart from the considerable noise reduction, has been effective insulation against the cold winter weather. I didn’t have to use the heater in winter. The installation took place in April.

Good product – My bedroom windows are less than 3m from the main road through my suburb (corner block) complete with a bus route. I invested in magnetite on my 3 bedroom windows, opting for the 10mm panels for maximum noise reduction. It's only been 2 days but noticed an immediate difference. Unfortunately one panel was too short, but they came back the next day with the replacement and fitted it.
Wait time from quote until installation was 13 weeks, although could have been 11 weeks but I hesitated before accepting. With 40% deposit upon acceptance of quote, remainder paid day of installation.
7 year warranty but hopefully will provide many more years of service. Suction caps provided to pull out the bigger panels. I opted for the dividers that just pull off for easy access to the window winder.
Panels are acrylic not glass (which I knew) hopefully my kitty doesn't scratch them up!
Overall a great product and recommended if you live on a busy street
NB: I had the traditional vertical blinds and was given the option to have them moved to outside the window reveal or have my curtains removed. I opted to have the blinds removed

couple of hiccups with what was done (more a personal design thing than anything technically wrong with the installation) but Magnetite couldn't have been more understanding and accommodating!! Things don't always go to plan even with the best laid plans but what matters is HOW miscommunications are resolved. Magnetite actually understand and DELIVER good old fashioned customer service - I know, this is a dying art these days but not with Magnetite. I have an outstanding result from Magnetite that has added real value to my real estate asset. The noise in the bedrooms has reduced significantly and the product does exactly what the sales people told me it would do. I wouldn't hesitate to use Magnetite again and recommend them to my friends. I want to thank Adrian and his fantastic team for having a product and a service they can all truly be proud of.
Amazing work, friendly , knowledgeable and innovative staff – Firstly I'd like to say I'm not a Greeny Nutter, but what I am is mindful of being wasteful, the use of disposable plastics, metal and other disposable materials. takes to Heat the home from 16°C to 21/22°C and then the short 45 mins it takes for the Temp to drop back down to 16°C at night when you turn off the AC...
The sheer size and thickness of our glass windows, the lack of eaves/verandahs combined with thin Aluminium window frames simply doesn't help and the transfer of Heat out in the Winter OR In during summer is greatest.
Option 1... Changing all the Windows to Gas filled Double Glazing.. Firstly you have to sell or destroy your existing windows after they've been removed which means wasting materials and adding to landfill.... This is not only Ultra Expensive and might prove to be the ultimate waste, but one thing I've learnt is when a house is built with windows places in situ, removing them means destroying timber window surrounds, gyprock, outside bricks and the rest... Then when the installers come to install new windows, they take ages, never measure 100% accurately because we all know that no builder is 100% accurate when laying bricks or flushing gyprock..it's just not going to work and then they have to use all these flashings to hide the gaps... PAINFUL Very PAINFUL!!
Option 2... Roller Shutters... well nothing against them but really they do look ugly when not built into a home from the get go.. You have that stupid large roll box fixed to the top of every window and a set of tracks running up and down the wall on either side of the window. Really after this many years Surely they could get the job done right and get into homes when being built so the tracks are in part of the window opening and the Roll cage is in the brickwork/eaves... Silly really and the Pull down blinds are just as bad..Sorry they have a long way to go to look great and be invisible. And they are Super Expensive.
The only other option I could think of was .... Option 3... Consider the existing windows, what can We do with them... Then we thought of Magnetite..
So I called.... Service - Fantastic Product Explanation - On Point In home Demo and Visit - Couldn't be faulted Quick visit by the actual installers before Installation Date - The Best Thing I could have Done... I met the actual Installers, they saw our Home, we discussed the pros and cons, we asked a few questions, they tweaked a couple items and they were on their way... PS.. they also got to discuss the options with my lovely better half and answer any and all of her Questions.
The sms and email progress notifications were fantastic, on time and provided me with the confidence that we made the right choice.
Well Day 1 of the 2 day install came along and the Installers arrived on time as promised and began their work. Quickly efficiently and without any damage, hassle or problems.
Day 2 came by and in a matter of Hours it was finished..10 Windows done and all I can say the GAP between the original Windows and the Magnetite along with the Thickness of the Insulating clear Perpex has brought our home to a steady 20-21°C Day and night... WOW!! and that was just the start....
The framework was done so well that you couldn't even tell its there...
The knowledge of the installers with yeas of service with the local franchisee was Paramount to their success and I feel is not exploited enough in their vision for future growth.
What more can I say, I will watch the use of the AC drop for both Winter and Summer and know that what I have done is the best not only for my pocket, the environment but also helping a Local SA Busiess and their employees stay in Business, survive our current Economic Uncertainty and Grow for years to come.

Great service but product did not meet expectations – Live next to a main road and we’re after a reduction in the traffic noise so had magnetite and sealtite installed around the main entrance. result, the actual noise reduction after installation has not been as much as we had hoped for so the final outcome has been disappointing.
It feels like a costly mistake and the better choice may have been to wait, save up and look at a more expensive solution that would have given us the outcome we were after.

I hate them – Wasted my $10k installing them. I now have a humidity issue which means I get mould on everything. It took three attempts to install them correctly; I still have a scratch on one panel and not happy with the finish, but that's the least of my worries. clean the mould off my Magentite windows now as well as my original windows. It makes me so upset. They offered me a dehumidifier for three months to resolve the issue, however it was over summer. It increased my electricity bill and was so noisy I couldn't use it at night. They have now taken it back (just in time for winter) and are not responding to my emails.
Great Product...got there eventually – My products (which are great) were installed 3 weeks ago but there was damage done due to rough work. Once Mgmt staff found out, they were really great & followed it up till it was repaired! I would definitely use this company again.

We installed magnetite and soundtite windows in our bedrooms. We live on a busy street and the sound reduction has been amazing - the only sound we hear now is buses and trucks if they pass by but general car noise is not there. Great solution to street noise, and for strata as it doesn't impact the common property and hence no by-law required – I can't believe I have put up with noise from the streets outside by bedroom windows for years. The product has really reduced the noise and it was installed in a way I can remove a small section of the window glazing away to allow me to open the windows as normal to air the rooms etc. Show details · 1
Excellent Window Noise solution – After continued frustrations with a Noisy Carport Airconditioner next door, I contacted Magnetite for a solution. Now with the product installed, I can attest to the excellent results. Even though I had some window cavity restrictions due to Plantation Shutters, the outcome was better than expected. Bad decision ever – I made wrong decision when go ahead with Magnetite. I paid for 4,7K to make 2 Windows 1,6 x 1,8 m. However outcomes are not worth. windows can’t matched. Frames and windows is not aligned properly. They should measure again after installing frames. I thought that was easy job so I was not at home during installation. Please carefully when you ordered this company.

The best thing for your home – Very happy with our installation and the product. They put rolls of cloth down on all floors and cleaned up thoroughly. We saved 46% on our gas heating bill in the first winter and rarely use our summer cooling. Secondary glazing installed well, reduces heat and noise – Magnetite provide professional service and quality installation. Noise reduction is excellent – I installed windows and a door frame to reduce the noise from the busy road outside. It has been exactly as promised, with noise reduced so much that I now barely even notice the cars. Only when a loud bus or turboed car drives past that we can hear the noise.
