gentle with it and still the last one broke off after couple of months so took it back AGAIN and there were no more left so had to buy heavy noisy upright cordless vacumn cleaner which I hate after the ease of using the swivel sweeper but I never had any problem with the battery, probably because the pole didn't last long enough for the battery or charger to wear out. So I guess unless they address the problem with the pole breaking there is no point in me trying to buy another one online. At one stage Big W told me no one else complained about pole and I was refused another replacement so have actually purchased 2 full price and now don't have one.

Good – I have the first generation of sweeper (2 for the price of 1). used my sweeper every day since I got it. My vac has become obsolete! My first sweeper died after 14 months of daily use, well, the battery went. So I broke out the new one and still use the old battery as a backup, even though it doesn't last nearly as long. I am able to sweep our entire 3 br house in 10 minutes and it even works on short, tight woven carpeting. My eldest (3 1/2) is now the sweeper of the house and my 2 yo is starting to use it as well. There's no way I could have them helping me with my beastly vac.

I love this thing so much that I've recommended it to 4 friends so far and they all love it too! Although, one friend has a longer shag type carpet, which the sweeper doesn't work as well on... which is to be expected, but it does a cracker of a job on the rest of the house. I honestly don't know why everyone is whinging about it. (No, I don't work for Danoz or any company affiliated with the sweeper, just a huge fan) Quick, convenient, does a great job on wood flooring It is a bit louder than my vacuum, the dirt will fall out of the tray if the unit is tipped and hair gets wrapped around the rollers.

the job that I want it to do, so I love it. I do a proper vacuum once a week and use this in between - perfect! Light and convenient. It does a good job of picking up crumbs and human hair etc. Fantastic to pick up after the kids through the day or to do a quick spruce up before guests arrive, without having to drag out the big vacuum cleaner. A little noisy and doesn't work great on carpet as it can get overheated (I think) and just stops. Having said that though, it is meant for quick clean ups, not to take the place of regular vacuuming. The tray needs to be cleaned every time after you use it, before you hang it up, otherwise all the dirt and crumbs you have just collected just falls out. Battery charge can run out if trying to get the whole house floor done. Is a bit noisy too, but again I don't find this a huge issue as I am only using it for quick clean ups. I don't find it any noisier than my big vacuum cleaner.

Excellent cannot recommend this enough – good charge lasts the whole house. not too loud.picks up everything. greats for spills kids pets teenagers. love this thing and cannot recommend it enough wish i could have one at work! dont have to drag out the big vacuum everyday. Value for money – I am rather surprised that although the product is very cheap, it actually picks up hair n dirt on floor very easily. The swivel is excellent as I can pick up in any nooks n corners. Would be good if the company produced a higher powered one using same technology of seamless bags.

Waste of money – It clogs up quickly with animal hair. Spend more time picking it off the brushes than actual cleaning with it. I paid for the two deal, but, each of them had a packing charge so the company makes money this way. The battery for the second one was dead and unusable so the unused item was useless. I contacted the company and could have got another battery if I paid for it. A terrible and wasteful product.  Show details

Broken – To begin with I loved this quick way to wipe up small messes without having to get out the big vacuum. But one day the stick broke and now although it works still and does its job I have to bend down to the broken component to do the job. I found the stick too flimsy and trying to repair it with super glue etc it broke promptly when used. would buy this again if it had a thicker stick.  Show details

Not worth the money – I just received mine and it's not worth unpacking! It does not pick up anything on tile or floor boards and to send them back will cost just as much! So save your money use a broom or just pull out the vacuum. Great but incredibly brittle – I loved it at first. Was great for Lino and even carpet. Was picking up heaps of grit and mess. But my husband was putting it away and it fell off the hook and broke into pieces. Was really disappointed I thought it would of been more sturdy than it was.  Show details

Worked for awhile – Bought this from Danoz direct at Munno para shopping centre last year it worked very good for awhile but after A few months stopped working it would be okay for someone with no pets as their hair gets.stuck in the wheels and around the brushes stopping it from working would buy if I had no pets  Show details

Disappointed – I was really happy with this sweeper except that the battery never lasted long and now it simply won't charge. I purchased this product from Big W and now they don't sell them any more. I really expected it to last longer. It's been sitting in my laundry for a year unused because it won't charge, but I am reluctant to throw it away because if I had a new battery it would work. Product ain't grand Weak Pole – This G2 model was given as a gift when I bought the H20 HD. Pole snapped off (plastic part nearest to the charger) not worth paying postage $19.95 to NZ to replace pole for this product. Pity no direct shop in New Zealand. I haven't contacted a service centre as I don't have a receipt and I refuse to pay one more cent to resolve the problem. Surely after enough complaints the company can fix the problems with the batteries and chargers. It can't be that hard.

ok sweeper – It's good for the price $20 I paid from a cheapie shop of a run out model came with 2 batteries. sold for me it's no power house on hard floor it's ok, nothing else but it does work . crumbs and bits it's not a carpet sweeper...Never charge the batteries for more than 4 hours..

prefer the old red one – I have just bought the new black swivel sweeper and very dis-appointed. I have quite flat carpet in my house and in between vacuuming I would use my red swivel sweeper and it did quite a good job, but after having it for 5 years it packed up so couldn't be without I bought the new black one and it doesn't do the carpet at all. in the corners and if you every make a mistake and put it on any rug or carpet you have had it. When you empty it it goes everywhere. It takes an hour to clean the brushes (especially if any hair, or string gets caught) and it seems to always be dirty after each use. The motor is so inefficient you spend more time cleaning the floor than cleaning dinner dishes and the whole of the kitchen. So I threw it away and bought a portable upright Dyson - expensive but well worth the purchase.

Swivel Sweeper – when they first came out my swivel sweeper was fine loved it. the second is so bad i cant believe it is so different it has no suction I talked my daughter in to getting one and hers is the same as my second one crap. what have you done to the production I would love another like my first one.

Great product – I have had the g2 sweeper about 12 months. Very happy over all, but I am finding the tray at the bottom is loose and doesn't click in properly anymore, sometimes spilling dust on the floor. Maybe stronger grips would help? Otherwise all good for a quick clean up. Have also bought one for a friend. Quick clean up between vacs. Tray at bottom loose and keeps opening. doesnt click in properly.

Rubbish – Terrible product. I've never written a review before. This one I have to write. Doesn't pick up anything. Don't waste your money on it. I'm throwing mine in the bin. It's lightweight, makes lots of noise but doesn't do a job. Please don't waste anytime on this and find a better product. Doesn't work as advertised. It is a totally misleading product as it doesn't pick anything up.

Poor – A poor quality product - would not recommend it! Much better to use broom and dust pan. This is just false advertising. Only picks up the lightest dirt. Hopeless on carpet. Not happy with this item – First thing I noticed was the skinny handle on this sweeper. It needs delicate handling or it wont last long. lightweight jobs such as on tiles where brushes don't have to work as hard. Cheaply made with wonky handle and fur or hair needs to be cut out.

glide the sweeper over the surface where needed so as to not put too much pressure on the handle. And when the battery runs out I recharge it for an hour or so.

Swivel sweeper g2 – I have bought 3 sweepers in the last year and every handle breaks in the same spot so i called the company and complained. Doesn't work!!! – Bought this product as we have 2 messy kids. Worked initially on the wooden floor. Never really worked on the carpet. After a while stopped working on the wooden floor. Motor would go but brushes would not rotate. Sent it back and received a new replacement. Battery would not hold it's charge for very long and needed to be re-charged all the time! And finally, the motor seized altogether some 18 months after purchasing and outside the 12 month warranty period. It's final resting place is now the rubbish tip. Very disappointed. Very expensive. Easy use Limited life span - 18 months. Battery died, motor died, handle tip broke, elbow joint broke.

recommend. I have had other battery sweepers i.e. the Electrolux and it is so reliable and has a battery life of around 30 mins. The Swivel action Battery, pick up, flimsy handle, all very inferior.

Garbage – I am finished with buying junk from Danoz as their advertisment is totally misleading from what you see on TV. The sweeper does not pick up much at all, when it does it falls out over the floor. The battery does not last 30 minsutes as advertised. I dislike the little squeeky voiced actor doing the advertisment just as bad. Battery goes flat within five minutes of use, does not pick up any thing like you see on the advertisment. Total junk.

Not worth the money – Purchased this product thinking it would be a great help around the house as I have young kids, and it was great to start with but it did not work for long. First went the battery which i replaced, then went the wiring as it would not put power thru to the head of the unit all the time, then went the charger. would not waste your time with this product. good if it worked everything went wrong with it in a short time frame
