I had a very disappointing experience with Daqua Interiors Melbourne at Como building In October 2024, I placed an order for two armchairs and custom cushions. Despite repeated promises, delivery was delayed for more than nine months with excuses ranging from “they forgot to put the order through” to a “stink bug infestation and stuck in customs… Read more
issues”.” Communication throughout this period was appalling, they rarely answered phone calls, messages, or emails. When the items finally arrived in August 2025, the colour was entirely different, missing the piping detail advertised, very cheaply made, and to make matters worse, they were defective, unstable, and unsafe. The chairs tip over when sat on, posing a serious health and safety risk, especially in a professional clinic environment. Daqua’s advertising and representations were misleading, the products did not match what was promoted, and the service was extremely unprofessional. Instead of addressing the issues, I was told I could only receive a store credit as though this were a simple change of mind, which is completely untrue. They have ignored Consumer Affairs Victoria, ignored formal legal correspondence, and shown no accountability. This matter is now proceeding to VCAT, something no customer should have to go through simply to resolve a defective purchase. I would strongly caution anyone considering purchasing from Daqua Interiors to think twice. My experience demonstrates a clear lack of reliability, accountability, and basic duty of care to customers.
