Darn Tough Vermont Socks

BIG W DARN TOUGH SOCKS – I do this review for those searching for reviews of Big W darn tough socks - 3 pairs for $12. I brought 6 pairs in September 2022. Each pair has been worn approximately 50 times, i.e. once per week, and all have holes worn in the heal area. Very poor in my opinion.

Does what it says – I have been wearing Darn Tough socks for the past 10 years or more. I have NEVER worn out a pair, never had a hole in a pair. They are comfortable, kind on the feet, and do everything they say they will.

They last no longer than department store socks and wouldn't honour the guarantee – These socks cost around A$20 a pair but only lasted 9 months I've had recent dept store socks last just as long, so NOT worth it. Re "lifetime warranty": My friend bought the socks in the US on my behalf. They weren't satisfied with me sending them a picture of the hole, and wanted me to send them back the socks at my expense. AND pay the postage back. Not REALLY a proper guarantee is it, if the postage is almost as much as the sock?
