Very rocky road! – Very disappointed with this product, and I have just retried it for the second time. Same result. Basically nothing more the chocolate and marshmallow. Where’s the nuts? Minute crumbs of unidentifiable crushed nuts. Where’s the cherries?... None! Where’s the crushed cookies?... None! Come on, Darrel Lea! This is below your usual good quality.

one of my fave's – This is so good and got it on special at $2.50 but would happily pay the $5. Not sickly which is why it is easy to have eaten half a block before you realise. Plenty of marshmallows and nuts to cut through the richness of the chocolate. Well done Darryl Lea! Actually I have also tried the caramel and the fruit and nut versions of this brand and they are all so good, blow another popular brand out of the water. Show details

Just like the former shops sold – Apparently in an effort to shake up the block chocolate market that's dominated by USA-owned Cadbury, Darrell Lea has introduced chocolate blocks. Woolworths had the larger 300 gram block of Rocklea Road - chocolate with marshmallows and peanuts in it - on special for A$6, but I couldn't find it at the store I went to so I had to buy the smaller… Read more

180g block for $5. Blow me down, the next week it was on special for A$2.50 each.

The chocolate is addictive and tastes just like those huge blocks that the now defunct Darrell Lea company-owned stores used to sell. The good thing is that with supermarkets now stocking it, it's probably a lot cheaper (allowing for CPI over the years.)

I enjoyed it so it probably won't be the last time I try it.

Excellent with a milk-based hot chocolate made at home with full cream milk and Darrell Lea drinking chocolate (which I reviewed separately.)
