Property in storage stolen – Went to get some of my items that are in storage the Townsville branch and found the padlock on my container had been cut off and the locking arm damaged. One of Dawsons safety seals had been placed in locking arm next next to the damaged one. This has to be cut off to be able to enter the container. Once inside, I found boxes had been gone through and a number of items stolen. The safety seal has obviously been fitted after the theft had occurred. What I’m upset about is that I have not been informed of the break in and I have no idea when it happened. If I had of know as soon as they knew, l could have reported it to the police and might have had a hope of getting some of my stuff back. I’ll be going in tomorrow and finding out why I wasn’t informed about the container break in. I’m far from happy with their service.
