Hi Shazza,apologies for late reply but I don’t see any reason why not.As long as you have the biller code and reference number etc on it to see so that Deferit can pay the bill.The only thing that I am not sure about is if you can pay by 4 instalments with cat registration but see how you go I remember attempting it myself for myself but I can’t quite remember otherwise it will ask for one payment but you I believe have the option to change the date of payment on your App..hopefully this is clear enough and helpful for you..Perry

Thank you, I know car registration can be done in 4 instalments as a family member does it but wasn’t sure if you could do it with overdue ones as she does hers as soon as her rego is due.

To proceed, please ensure that you upload the updated bill that includes the late fee. Alternatively, if you are using the original bill, kindly update the amount to reflect the total, including the late fee.

Hi Jordan as far as I know it is yes to your answer or the following day as long as you have some funds in your bank account to cover the first instalment as calculated by deferits system.You will receive a payment receipt with 1-3 business days on your App. You can also change the first payment date at your choosing to a future date by pressing change date etc.You can also change the dates on instalments 2 to 4 if you wish if it suits you I believe too. It already took the 1st payment out of my account but don’t show that it was paid on my xfinity account

Hi Jordan the best way that I can explain it is from what you have told me is that the payment will eventually come through on your xfinity account.You most likely have already received an email or text message stating it is the process of being paid. I have been using my Deferit account to pay my Vodafone bills of which the payment eventually comes through on the other side once processed by the other side’s system too I believe.Perry

We process bills on the date of your first payment using available biller methods (e.g., mailed check or online portal). A confirmation email is sent once the bill is paid. Please note, if the payment requires logging into a secure account, we won’t be able to process it—check with your biller for alternative methods.

Hi Connor! It usually can take up to 3 business days to reconcile with your biller, however, once they process the funds they have to recognise it as paid on the day we sent the funds. It's always a good idea to give your biller a call and provide them with the receipt number and let them know the bill was paid as this may help allocate the payment to your rego faster. :)

Hi Leeann! Bills don't necessarily have to be under your name. However, as the account holder, you'll be responsible for the installments for the bill. Hi Jules, We sincerely apologize for not responding to your review earlier. We’d like to explain how the dispute process works, as we were unable to locate your account. If a customer wins a dispute, the refunded amount is returned to their account instead of being paid to us. This means the customer still owes us that amount and must repay it. We do not reverse customer bills unless fraud is detected. Once the dispute is settled, we will unlock the account, unblock the card, and update the dispute installment status. Typically, the payment is automatically deducted again from the card used.

If we win the dispute, the amount is returned to us, and the customer does not need to make any further payments, as we recover the funds. In this case, we will also unlock the account, unblock the card, and mark the disputed installment as paid.

Hi Deborah! You may reach out to Telstra and see if there are any other payment methods that they can accept apart from BPay, if there are, we can try and see if it can be validated online. :)

I’ve spoke to Telstra they say they’ll only accept direct debit they apparently don’t do bpay anymore and don’t have account no only customer Id nos is there any way to pay with deferit using the customer id no without a biller code

No worries, kindly upload your bill and send us their bank details and your customer ID at contact@deferit.com. We'll use your customer ID as reference and we'll try to make the payment.

As it’s a new car registration I won’t have the bpay ect but can I use deferit to pay for it

You may still upload the bill and we will try to validate it online using the available details. :)

As we are a budgeting tool, we also do not take care of any discretionary expenses, including the purchase of retail goods or travel.

You could also go ahead and upload your bill onto your account so that it can be reviewed by our team. You will always receive a notification with any updates that we have regarding your bill, letting you know whether it’s been accepted, or if we are not able to support your bill. :)

Hi Kerrie! Thank you for reaching out to us. Our system supports 3 payment methods that we can use to pay our customer's bills. BPAY is one of them, but we can also accept bills that can be paid through online payment portals or bank transfers. Please take note that bills that can be paid through bank transfers can only be processed on your account once you have successfully paid off a bill with us.
