Happy at last – I've been really happy with our Delongi since purchasing about 12-18 months ago. Having been through a couple of Breville machines that didn't last and kept clogging, plus a couple of Sunbeam prior, it's a great relief. For similar cost this machine is more robust and the single wall basket has never clogged. Nice compact design for our small kitchen and well priced. It took a bit of time to work out how to use, but once we did and set up to suit us, we didn't look back. It does 'ask' to be descaled often and the Delongi brand Ecocalk is expensive, but we haven't risked using a different type. Overall very happy.

Total Disappointment – When my 7 year old small DeLonghi machine, which I really enjoyed, failed, I purchased a EC900 Dedica. What a huge mistake. This machine is described as an Active Temperature unit, and it does not function correctly..the coffee tastes like dishwater. Worse..the steamer function will not create a crema, it just boils the milk. I never had this issue with the old machine. I plan to put on Buy Nothing, maybe someone else can use it but I won't.

Reasonably priced and powerful – I wanted a machine that was more eco friendly than using pods, and delivered quality taste and decent steaming. Bench space is limited, so this machine ticks all the boxes. It looks good and I'm really happy with the quality, design and performance.
