Gas stove top to avoid – I recently purchased a DeLonghi DEGH60 gas cooktop. Apart from being difficult to ignite it is not possible to cook anthing on simmer. I contacted DeLonghi (Fisher & Paykel) and they sent a technician who couldn't lower the flame. I hired another gasplumber and he said the flame could not be lowered. I read in Choice that cooking on simmer was an issue with this model so I am not imagining this issue. I contacted DeLonghi again and have had no response. I am so upset and disappointed with this cooktop and the lack of response from DeLonghi.

Purchased in at Appliances Online for $599.

Thank you for finally responding. A more timely response would have been appreciated. Unfortunately I have been a fan of Delonghi for many years and have quite a few Delonghi appliances. I will never recommend any Delonghi item or buy a Delonghi appliance again.
