Waste of money – I bought this to replace an Anko coffee machine. Big mistake. The steam wand leaks from the get go. The crema is so poor it disappears before the milk is heated. I tried three brands of coffee. All had very little crema. I tried grinding beans finer with no success. Pity DeLonghi spent so much on a nice box. Im returning the machine and going back to Anko.

We find that when the coffee comes out watery, it is due to the grind quality. The courser the grind, the faster the delivery of coffee .The finer the grind the slower the delivery of coffee. If the coffee is ground too fine and can create a blockage in the filter resulting in no delivery of coffee produced. The amount of coffee you are using in the sump and the tamp pressure used, can also produce coffee variation results.
