Great machine – Great machine we use most days we had it for months now purchased 2nd hand. Like all machines it does need up keeping / maintenance to keep it in top condition. Descale regularly (machine will tell you when depending on water condition you choose in settings) (Filtered water is best) & clean inside coffee grounds. I have it set to turn… Read more
off 2 hours after use so the pipe works do a clean
cycle rather than always on.
I clean the infuser every 1-2 weeks (Min monthly) with warm water only in a bowl to sit to remove coffee grounds.
(Inside the front of the machine remove the infuser by pressing the two red buttons once machine is off).
Monthly re-grease the infuser to keep it lubricated well (Use food grade friendly grease).
Also wipe down the black plunger looking unit head that is above the infuser that compresses the coffee once
ground. (Has orange seal on it to clean).
Most replacement parts can be found on ebay.com or www.bigwarehouse.com.au used both to get new parts.
All in all very happy with the coffee it produces does a great job with coffee's and frothing works
well just takes practice to have the froth wond at just the right height in the milk and milk type can vary the froth type it produces.
Only issue I had is the coffee wasn't as warm as I liked in standard settings. However this is easily changed
via going into the settings and changing the temperature setting to high.
When you first get the unit experiment as you may find also you might want a finer ground coffee for your
tastes. You can change the ground settings as per manual (*only when the machine is grinding the beans*.)
Over all a great machine no faults so far.
Part of the family – Had this for at least 6 years now. What can I say... It's totally ruined me for all the terrible coffee that costs a zillion dollars a cup. If I could sit it next to my bed I would. I'm happy to spend $2400 on a machine like this. Gold. Pure gold. I've paid less for cars. But, this old boy is worth it. Do yourself a favour, if you can afford… Read more
it buy one. You'll save $5.00 every morning for the burnt bitter crap they serve in coffee shops. When it dies, I'm buying another with more buttons & lights.
The silver tray has scratched easily though where the cups sit. That's about all the negs. Oh... It's kind of loud.
Some problems with it – Had the machine for more than two years now.I have to grease the infuser all the time, I buy the grease from Bravo in Sydney, if I don't do it about every couple of days it gets stuck and delivers dirty water, no coffee, I have to clean it every couple of days, remove the coffee grounds that get everywhere inside the machine when the infuser does… Read more
not work properly.I am not happy ,out of warranty and out of commission now. When it works the coffee is beautiful Lots
Love my baby! – I have had my machine for 4 months and absolutely love it - really simple to use and does everything you need in a coffee machine! It can use whole beans or ground beans one touch buttons for pretty much everything a real breeze to use. Would highly recommend this machine to people. Little loud but I think that is normal for a machine like this Show 2 replies
Extremely Easy to Use – This machine is great. You can set it to auto warm up every morning at the same time hence never waiting to brew your coffee. It is easy to use and instructional DVD shows you how to use all features reliable, have had machine for 4 months and no problems
Excellent – I was really nervous about choosing a coffee machine, and considered this to be a good 'middle of the road' choice, pricewise at least. It makes fabulous coffee - I've been nothing but really impressed. It seriously rivals what my favourite coffee shop produces. It is a little noisy, but nothing too extreme or unexpected. You can use ground… Read more
coffee or beans, and predictably the coffee made with fresh beans is the best. Take note that the manual says that upon setting it up it will take several cups of coffee before it consistently starts making a good brew, and this is true. I only need to empty the grounds container and drip tray once or twice a week, and other cleaning funtions are needed much less frequently than that. This is one of the few mid-range automatic models it seems where you can froth your own milk, which I think is great. Makes great babyccinos for the kids! Controls are easy to understand, comes with a great DVD that saves you having to read the manual, automatically rinses and other cleaning functions only need to be undertaken every so often, makes great milk froth would have liked to be able to buy it in silver (not white), can't froth a large jug of milk, only small. It's fairly large.
Excellent – This is the first coffee machine I have ever used and so far it is wonderful. It is easy to use, easy to clean and makes a delicious coffee with so little effort. It also looks lovely as I have an all white kitchen and it blends beautifully with the decor. Easy to use, easy to clean, great looking machine. Noisier than I expected, but this is the first machine I have ever used so I have nothing to compare it to.
3250 coffee's and counting! – We love this machine! With no experience in making coffee we simply wanted a machine that would allow us to make a nice coffee at home with no mess and no fuss.We have had our machine for 2 years now and it gets used daily from 2 coffee's a day for my partner and I or upto 50 coffees a day when we have had friends over for breakfast. loaded it in the car to take away with us and it still makes a great coffee. Simple to use with the option to create a coffee that caters to almost any coffee drinkers tastes. We now have regular friends and family who visit specifically for their weekly coffee and it is so easy they can even make it themselves. Bigger bonus it is self cleaning! The counter on our machine says we have now made 3250 coffee's in the last 2 years and the machine still keeps ticking. Easy to use push button, simple instruction guide, self cleaning
