exact same issue unresolved, plus new scratches on the machine and the original box returned ripped apart. To make matters worse, I’m now being asked to send the machine in again, meaning even more time without a product I paid a premium price for. At this price point, this level of service is unacceptable. Poor repair quality, careless handling, and no consideration for the customer experience. I expected far better from a brand like De’Longhi
Bought the Delonghi Maestosa and love there are instructions on screen that are easy to follow etc ie Change filter and how to change. My thoughts of this coffee machine are after coming from a Delonghi Primadonna Soul. We only switched as we wanted a 2 bean hopper as we started drinking decaf as well. 1. you can’t swipe. You have to use the arrows which is a huge bummer unlike the Soul. And especially considering the price tag! I wonder if there is a wireless update that can get it up to speed with the current machines.
3. The screen sensitivity is not great, I have to put a bit of pressure in my presses for it to register.
4. An issue across all delonghi machines. Drinks aren’t hot enough, so we have to preheat our cups with hot water.
5. Drinks themselves taste wise is good. That’s why we went with Delonghi again as they are workhorses.
All in all, if we could have the Soul or the Aromatic (which replaced it this year I believe) with a double hopper. That would’ve been the bees knees.

everything. I had to swap over to oat milk recently - yes, we hammered the flat whites so hard that my gut could no longer handle dairy once again, so we flagged away the dairy. I won't use the latte crema milk delivery system because I'm scared of harming Davina by running oat milk through it, but we got a quite reasonable Breville jug steamer for a couple of hundred dollars or something like that, and it does great frothed heated oat milk for us. Looks good standing next to Davina as well, though I'm sure she looks down at it! I think that the DeLonghi Maestosa is an amazing investment, yes there is upkeep with it, but so worth it. So glad we bought Davina!

When I received it, I was blown away by the looks and by just how well it was made. The main components are metal and glass, making it super easy to clean and very functional. Setup was a breeze. I was surprised by the size of this machine even though I had done my research. It is a very bold machine that does take up more room than the Dinamica Plus, but nevertheless, it did fit my space. I mainly drink cappuccino's, so I quickly set about to setup my personal choice and saved this into the machine. After the first couple of drinks, I was pleasantly surprised by the texture and, more importantly the taste, and was more than happy that I had made this transition. Having Two Coffee Bean compartments is brilliant, as you can have two different types of coffee beans and choose from either when you are making your drink. The other new feature is the light. As your drink is being prepared, the light comes on so that you can see exactly what is happening. I love this idea. For those who don't, you can turn it off. There are numerous changes that you can make to your selection including quantity, aroma and how hot you would like it. There are many more which I will experience over time. I find the cappuccino hot enough for me on the highest setting. I know some have complained about this but I find it just right for me. The packaging that it comes in is substantial. It is well protected and safe from most causes of transit damage.
Two things I would recommend to Delonghi to change in the future. They are not major recommendations.
1. The power plug is your normal type of plug. I would recommend a Flat Plug, one that fits flush with the wall. This would in turn, give you a little more room to place the machine back rather than forward. Because of the current type plug, your machine has to sit out from the wall otherwise it is up against the actual plug.
2. The blue tape that they use to secure various parts of the machine for transit does leave some residue both on the machine and on the metal cup holder, when you remove it to setup the machine. A minor issue, but one that would be easily fixed by Delonghi.
I also find that Delonghi produces so many instructional videos to help you with basically any issue - and I find this excellent.
I have also found that Delonghi Customer Service is Exceptional. That has been my experience everytime I have had to contact them with questions that I have!! Thank You Delonghi, very much appreciated.

Almost perfect – This machine work of art. It makes great coffee and very easy to use. I bought one for my small office. Everyone was very happy about this purchase. So far I noticed only 2 disadvantages. 1) I also bought Delonghi ecam 650.85 for home about 6 months ago. It was 600$ cheaper then Maestosa EPAM 960.75. functionalities such as preparing 2 cappuccino at the same time is great. But ECAM 650.85 has some great functionalities that are missing in Maestosa. For example absent of cup warmer in Maestosa. Another example is that in Ecam 650.85 you can set auto-start time for your coffee machine. I think for such a big amount of money Maestosa should have all possible features that DeLonghi can offer. 2) The android application is not working at all. It can't connect to the internet. When you try to connect it to Maestoso it says that "device isn't recognized" or something like that and app need internet to download Maestosa data :). I hope someday DeLonghi will produce wifi adapter for its devices and will rewrite its mobile applications.
Overall it is a very good coffee machine and I can recommend it but I really upset that one of the main and so much promoted feature - Mobile Application, isn't working at all.

barista made. We love that we have the choice of the 2 bean hoppers which means we can enjoy a different coffee in the afternoon than we do in the morning. We make sure we clean all the components thoroughly once a week which is very simple & takes about 10 minutes, it’s well worth it to get the consistent great tasting coffee. We have made our own custom coffees through the app although the coffees that are programmed by default are amazing too, our favourite is the Latte Macchiato. An interesting fact, the Maestosa is man made rather than by machine which is very cool knowing that a person has actually built it. Ooh and another thing, our 2 year old loves the baby-chinos which we customised to his very own profile. Although it is an expensive purchase, it is such a great investment and looks great in the kitchen too. We can’t speak highly enough of the Maestosa.
Wonderful !! – I love our new Maestosa machine. After our in-home barista service, I learnt even more about the machine and its capabilities. My only disappointment was that we were promised a gift pack upon purchase of the machine, which was given to us but was short of the items promised. everything for you, it will show you each step it takes from grounding the beans to frothing the milk. It's very easy to care for and clean, what impressed me the most about this particular machine is the Crema it produces! not once but every time you make a coffee! I personally like my coffee hotter than most people and once I turned off the energy saving tab, wow what a difference it made, now i have my coffee exactly how I like it hot! This particular coffee machine is pure pleasure to use and to drink from. I absolutely love this machine, if you too love your coffee as much as I, then don't look past the Maestosa coffee machine from DeLonghi it's worth every cent!!
Fantastic Machine – Dont know how I have lived without this machine, beautiful coffee every time no matter what recipe we use. Quick to heat up.
