Coffee is not hot enough even on the hottest setting, I have tried all the trouble shooting tips this machine is just not good enough Using a digital thermometer the coffee produced is 10C less than that produced by our pod machine
Follow-up · Coffee machine boiler was replaced under warranty, still the same, coffee is not hot enough. At least I had hot coffee from my old pod machine for 3 weeks while the warranty work was completed. Worst coffee machine investment, 100% regret buying this delonghi machine

This was a much saved for product for our son who has complex medical issues …. so after much reading and looking we decided to join Choice for 3 months to help us make the right decision. We can not fault this machine … it is so easy to use and clean makes great coffee consistently … it has a clear easy to use panel … the milk is always to each individuals liking … We would highly recommend this machine … price,ease of use, great coffee consistently…. and i love that i am now not struggling to recycle coffee pods and we have great coffee grounds for the compost …. its a winner
Lasted 5 months and 1 week then one day while dispensing hot water, there was a loud electrical short inside followed by quite a lot of smoke coming out of the side of the unit. Now back to manufacturer for assessment and however long it takes to repair. In its defence, it did make a consistent coffee, while it lasted. Time to find another brand of coffee machine.
Follow-up · Well, for the follow up. Harvey Norman got back to us and offered a few options, a full refund, a new unit or credit towards any other coffee machine in the store. We ended up putting a few $$ towards the new Delonghi Rivelia as it was on sale with a considerable discount. Can say it is a huge improvement over the Magnifica Plus, hopefully lasts a bit longer. We stuck with Delonghi as it just does what we want and seems to be consistent with coffee making.

DO NOT BUY THIS MODEL I've had this model and in 10 months the software had issues and became usable. Luckily I set up a Delonghi account and registered my machine, otherwise I would not receive warranty service or get a refund. When I spoke to the service agent I was told he had lot of these models and had to request replacement or returns. This model should be discontinued due to flaws in the software.

Forget about podcasts, go with beancasts – The Delonghi auto coffee machine has made the morning coffee experience enjoyable. My wife didn't want to use pods anymore for health reasons. Can't believe we waited so long to enjoy the flavour of fresh beans. Very easy to use once you get your individual taste right, then simply save it. Up to 4 different saves. Everything else is simple. It tells you what to do. No dissapointments here.
